Soo true! How many times have I walked into doorways and filing cabinets? And where did that chair come from?😂

0:47 "we have bumps and bruises that show up and we have no idea how they got there"

Does this explain why I’m notorious for stepping on peoples feet? That might just be me lmao

I get so many random bruises 😂 i sometimes don't know how i got them. Sometime i can relate it to walking into that wall or something the day before. But other times i have no clue! I really feel what youre saying ❤

Is this why we do the cartoon dodge when getting too close to an obsticle? Or forgetting it exists till the last minute.

I have dyspraxia and it does tend to be very closely related to adhd. I only learned how to ride a bicycle at 22!

I clean offices for a living and I would either hit my back on the desk or gosh darn I don't know how many times I hit my head on the paper towel thing in the bathroom. I started a stimulant and it was going great I didn't hit anything! Till my panic attacks came back,
I was told to pick between my panic attacks or ADHD due to both meds were controlled substances. I've been on both of them for 5 months so I don't get it. But omg I did not put it with the ADHD as much but I figured thank you thank you thank you

This is so me.... until driving. Driving, I'm good at. I'm obsessed with... Anyone else get that feeling of peace and flow when driving? Especially on track? I'm guessing I get so much adrenaline and dopamine that it sort of "cures" me for a while?

Interestingly, many drummers have ADHD, including myself. A shrink told me that we often become what we become to address our issues, whether we're aware of it or not. Before I was diagnosed, I was very aware that other drummers were noticeably very hyperactive. I didn't see myself as hyperactive. Drumming has to be the ultimate stimming activity, and it definitely releases a lot of energy. It also helps with brain health, coordination, and those spacial issues. However, it is mostly specific to playing drums. We'll also be the first ones to stand up from the drum kit, knock things over, and trip on stage! 😂

I have broken so many bones. Right hand wrist six times, left hand wrist twice. Right foot four times left foot two or three. I thought it was just being too rough.

Reaaaalll I'm so clumsy, its not like dyspraxia or anything but I suck at sports and dancing, I bump into people a lot. My mom especially has this issue and said that one of her prev psychiatrists said she had adhd related spacial issues and depth perception

I don't hate that people are self-diagnosing, but I hate they have to because of a lack of access to mental healthcare.

Unfortunately ADHD can be diagnosed in older poorly lighted buildings and something like autism can be forgotten.

I strongly suspect that I (41f) have been struggling with undiagnosed ADHD my whole life. I don't consider myself particularly clumsy... and yet, mystery bruises often appear. My partner fussed over them, and I can rarely tell him how I got them.

I have ADHD and amblyopia, which means that my video spatial reasoning is super impaired because of lack of depth perception, and I think this explains why I am so bad at walking through doorways, parking, and walking with a backpack on without outing the wall

No....getting diagnosed with ADHD can be hard if you are not the classic trouble maker. Love how they want you to have a mental breakdown before they will consider it...usually it's just a mental issue.

I thought it was just poor depth perception, poor peripheral vision, and an issue with low lighting.

I'm very clumsy and feel very alone i see other people and how they themselves aren't clumsy I wish I wasn't, but I am, and I get told to pay attention but no matter how much I do I always make a mistake I've been like this since I was born lol/
