Just double checked Kimberly! All combo routes are intact! Go Crazy on Launch Version of Game! Instead of holding the kick button to do Run Follow-ups you have to Press it once to initiate run, then again to do the follow-up!
I'm an old school ibuki/rush down player and I have searched youtube for everything to do with this character to an obsessive degree since the open beta and yes I've have made a shit load of notes. In the first 30 seconds of this video you've given me a light confirm combo into solid damage, a teleport mix up with CH meaty, and a safe jump. All this with the data to back it up. No unsafe cute mix ups here, just pure numbers and options. There's some good stuff on this character but there's also a sea of crap content that is just unoptimized, brutally unsafe and trash. This video is a shining example of what I want to see. Well done sir, very well done. Instant sub. Now keep the content coming. (EDIT - Still making notes and caught Chapelle XD)

@@Thatgumurk Not mad. Just disappointed because this is the best that Capcom can do when creating a new character. Plus I just don't see Guy wanting to teach a hyperactive nuisance Bushinryu techniques and secrets only to screw it up with graffiti and spray paint. They just don't go together.

I think some of these set up changed.. i most certainly could be wrong, since I didn't use Kimberly in the beta. Her qcb Hk does not knock you back that far anymore
That is correct. the setups no longer works. Also combos that go Cr.mp -> St.mp~St.hp. Take out the Cr.mp. the added oush back on it makes it to where st.mp won't connect

Same thing happened to me, it took me a while to realize this video was released during beta and some of the stuff doesnt work anymore, the pushback on the overhead was increased so you have to do target combo after the overhead instead (without cr mp).
I'm trying to figure out good button combinations. Any tips? Where do you have your heavy kicks and punches set to? I have it set to r1 and r2. Anything that would make it easier would be cool including the rage drive stuff. Or what ever it's called in this game lol
I honestly think the default buttons are the way to go. I made L2 a button for 'Simultaneous Input Assist' since parrying is easy enough with the buttons instead of the Macro
Thanks for the video! I can’t get the vanish cr light to hit meaty though in training mode. I have the dummy on block after first hit and it always blocks the light. Unless I’m ignorant of what meaty means.

your good. they added some recovery to the spin kick so the setup doesn't work anymore. The combos is still fine. Feel free to use her target combos if your more comfortable with that

Unfortunately it was taken out with the full release build. Also on the DR ovrehead combo take out the Cr.mp before the M.target combo. If there any other changes we find it'll be in the description. Besides those two things you should be good. 👍🏾👍🏾
@0:12 seconds when you teleport in front of him...how are you able to down low light punch into standing medium heavy punch??? When I do it the combo does not connect and I do not get the 3 hits. Does this only work when it's a counter?
I'm confused at 0:26. After KD I instantly jump forward and I land b4 he even has a chance to get up? So if he doesn't DP I miss my J.HP unless I delay? It doesnt look like ur delaying. Hmmm whats going on here.
Either you hit him on the way down if he doesn't dp and you have a blockstring/combo set up or he does DP and landing frames cancel the j.HP and you have advantage

The slide for the safe jump must be delayed so you get there on time instead of too fast. Goto training mode turn frame data and just practice delaying the slide to where when they stand up it says Plus 42. A frame more or less and it won't work.
@@BlazinTre yeah it must have. You can see it's literally impossible if you turn on the frame display. iirc after heavy air tatsu you're +29 and then the teleport is like 42 total frames or something

by rage drive do you mean super arts? If so as long as your on Classic controls there is no way to not have to ⬇↘↘, ⬇↘➡+ K or P

Cr MP into st heavy punch isn’t working for me is it a timing thing? I set the npc to block after first hit and it’s not connecting
they patched it. 2mp does more push back on block. just take out the 2mp and just hit 5mp, 5hp instead

The cr light only connects on counter hit
to imitate the first combo and setup, the bot only needs to be set to do cr.light punch on wakeup. You'll find it under reversal options. 👍🏾

Yeah, need counter. You can tell the dummy to wake up CR LP in training options, Reversal Settings.

L stands for light. so the light version of the attack
