      The blades of the engine of this plane (Airbus A220-100) are a decent way back from the edge of the cowling. An article describes a passenger as seeing responders do compressions trying to resuscitate him. Both of these would point to him not being put through the blades and if he did make contact, it was likely not major since there was at least enough of a body in order to try.
      Mentions of naloxone in that same article make me think the guy ODed while pressed against the cowling by the engines. Remember they were not in the middle of actually taking off, the engines were not running at high power. (I think they were at a de-icing station)

When he couldn't them open, the next camera picked him up outside on the ground running toward the front of the wing, and the clip stops, so I assume that is when he put himself in jeopardy and received his fatal injury.

    Why on earth didn’t the grounds crew stop him? At any point during when an aircraft is at the gate or the de-icing pad, there will always be ground crews either working on the aircraft, either de-icing the aircraft or ground crew mechanics fixing the aircraft. From the reports they said ATC had to notify the pilot to shut off engines, so then mechanics are ruled out of he equation. De-icing crews then working on de-icing the aircraft should visibly see if someone’s is approaching the aircraft who’s unauthorized without any safety PPE’s or uniform. At some airports, even emergency exists won’t open without an authorized airport ID with a programmed chip. So there has to be more to this report that they’re not mentioning. Security is high and gaining entrance to a secured area like a tarmac, isn’t something that’s easily accessible by just a door that has alarms when opened. Like I said, you can’t even open them without a programmed ID issued by the airport.

    • @mikoto7693
      @mikoto7693 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have to agree with you. If an aircraft was actively being deiced then there would have been ground crew around it. It’s mandatory to wear high visibility clothing so anyone who isn’t supposed to be there is very obvious and he should have been intercepted long before he reached the engine.
      As for getting into the airport my best guess is that he scaled a fence somewhere.

One of those people spent a full month in Mendota Mental Hospital in Madison, WI under TIGHT watch. I visited him while he was in there and he was a completely different person and a lot of what he did/said made no real sense. The real scary thing is that he didn't remember most of it after he snapped back to reality.
