The OSSC's Line2x mode has aged pretty well tbh (plz read description)

The beginning of this clip is exactly what you'd get from just plugging an OSSC straight into your TV with something like the Megadrive connected. I've then corrected the aspect ratio, cropped the borders and zoomed in during post.
I loved my OSSC back in the day and, even then, Line5x was available so I never got to experience the bare-bones Line2x mode as 3x and 4x were my go tos.
I just wanted to record some quick footage and see how the OSSC's Line2x still holds up today. You know what? It's not bad at all and would be perfectly adequate for a review or let's play etc.
You still need to deal with the signal drops for resolution changes so that may not be your cup of tea but, considering these devices are available for pretty cheap these days, if you just want to dabble with some RGB/Component capable consoles, you can do MUCH worse!
