So I couldn't help but notice that at 9:24 in the edit you showed a quick shot of the receiver, mounted on the back of an OSEE monitor. Your receiver was mounted incorrectly, leaving the antennas in a horizontal orientation. These particular type antennas are designed to receive the signal on a vertical plane. The mushroom antennas are designed to receive signal on a horizontal plane. There is no doubt that your mushroom antennas will help but I would retest with your receiver mounted in a vertical orientation. Hope this helps!
Usually these types of problems only appear when on location, not when troubleshooting back at the office. Glad you got it figured out!
Just a guess, but those radiation machines in hospitals (@ 9:32) create massive magnetic fields that could be the cause of the interference.

Using original antennas with Cineview SE on the set, mostly exterior but also interior for director's monitoring and focus puller as well and never had any issues. Someone already mentioned possibility of the magnetic fields interfernce from the machines in the hospital and I really think that is the issue.
I noticed the same thing with the image quality on mije. I almost returned mine. Glad I saw this video!
Thanks for the heads up! I've been looking at getting this unit. Good to know there is a workaround with the quality issue. I purchased the Hollyland Mars M1 and wasn't happy with the screen quality and the transmission quality either. Lots of banding and an unacceptable image to be showing my clients with a directors monitor.
I work in a school and we try this, ohh boy thats a mistake too.😂 We use a lot of wireless connectivity in the school and I think this interfere with the signal. We literally have no feeds from the transmitter. Will try to upgrade with that antenna. Thanks for this informative video!
Did your improvements work with only 2 mushroom antennas on each the TX and RX? or did you replace all 4 on each unit? When purchasing online, it comes in a 2-pack option. So, should I order mutliple packs to replace all antennas or just two on each? Thanks for any help you may provide.
It is work to focus puller? When shoot in 25p, the latency seem drop a lot. You can fix it? Or there is other way to make it work for focus pulling?

Did you re-test with both antena types not at that location?
We did, unfortunately we were experience the same quality issues at our office as we were at the shoot location (while using the stock antennas).
@@threefoldtv Loos like i'm sticking to the $1990usd HDMI version of Teradek then
@@cjadams7434 just to clarify its only with the STOCK antennas there is a quality issue, upgrading to some cheap $12 mushroom antennas totally fixed the issue and gave a really clean feed.
