  • The all-new EX30 will be the smallest car in Volvo's range, slotting below the XC40. The Swedish company has high expectations for the EX30, predicting it will become one of its best-selling vehicles in the near future.
The compact crossover carries Volvo's latest design language, with similar features to its range-topping EX90 seven-seat SUV, including a new interpretation of Volvo's 'Thor's Hammer' lighting signature. Minimal front and rear overhangs with 20-inch alloy wheels give it solid proportions. A long wheelbase (that space between the front and rear wheels) creates more passenger space while accommodating a large battery within the floor.

thanks for a nice clear video for a nice clean forward looking piece of car design. Only thing I think you overlooked was the simplification of the door - speakers across windscreen sound bar and window switches in centre...simplifies construction and repair and thus cost and repair rates (think leases/insurance) . there is a lot of clever thinking here (rather than just different), which i hope gets rewarded

Thanks for watching. There are lots of great features in this car, we were very limited in time to make this video, so couldn't cover everything. But you make an excellent point about the simplification of construction and potential for lower repair costs.

IT's pretty annoying how more car makers are opting to leave them off. Looks nice in design, but it's a pain to live with a lot of the time.

Great video, have already placed an order for a business lease on the dual-motor version; I really hope they can deliver around the end of the year! I noted that the wheels on the cars they had at the Reveal event/presentation were very different to the ones that actually come with the car (checked all specs). Any idea why that may be?

Not sure about this particular vehicle, Doug, but most prototypes and concept vehicles have extra large and flashy wheels to attract more attention. Production EVs typically have smaller wheels with aero inserts for improved efficiency and range

I can’t help but think how much of a distraction this central display will be during driving. Especially when driving in the evening. I imagine people will be instinctively messing around with the display while driving. All the important information should be in your line of view, instead of shifting the view down towards the center. I’m surprised that nobody is addressing this element.
