This is beautiful. I am also a portrait artist, but only now am trying CP realism after decades of pastel and oil painting. I have the full set of Polychromos and there is no color 330. I went through my swatch charts again and again. I tried looking it up online and no color 330 comes up. Could it be a typo or a discontinued color? What is the color name for that color? Thank you so much for your time and such a beautiful demonstration!
Hi I'm glad you like it. I used Faber Castell Classic Colour Pencil here . 330 color is light flesh. I don't have the Polychromos so I don't know if it has the same color code as the Faber Castell Classic.
Hello, I noticed that layering two starkly contrasting colours doesn't work well when you are drawing portraits with FCCP on ordinary A4 printing paper
@@praeduco6928 I have pens like this too, I have the same one, I've been using your tactic for a year, it doesn't work. These pencils cannot do this portrait, cheap paints cannot do this well, but if you buy polychromos or prismacolor they can.
Now THAT is talent ❤ I love the tutorial. Keep the great work :)

Your drawing skills are awesome, I IMMEDIATELY subscribed after watching this video. By the way, how long does it usually take to color like this?
Thank you. It takes me 2 to 3 days and it's not whole day of drawing, just 5 to 6 hrs a day.

Imagine fccp is not oil based pigment but you is really amzing❤
What paper are you using?
Hello, I used Fabriano Mixed Media paper here.
But how did you do the eyes??
Hi I have made a video tutorial for the eye. Check it out.

I got it from my 48 sets of fccp, 12 sets fccp doesn't have white
@@praeduco6928 so you need an eraser if you don't have white?

You can use any white pencil brand
Hello, I noticed that layering two starkly contrasting colours doesn't work well when you are drawing portraits with FCCP on ordinary A4 printing paper
By the way, I have an FCCP 48 piece coloured pencil set
I actually used Fabriano Mixed Media paper here. It's a textured paper.
@@praeduco6928 Okay, can I use ordinary printing paper to get a similar effect?
No
I have another tutorial and I use A4 printing paper, check it out.
