@33:55 Bro, yes dude i had that same feeling man. So i was born and raised in Murrieta CA. and in 2011 my dad lost his job and in turn we couldn't pay our bills and i couldn't find a job my dad couldn't either and we were living with my moms side of the family, and so in 2012 my dad found a job out in Texas so he moved there and was living with his sister so my mom and i moved there jan. 1st 2013 and mediately i got a job and about 8 months later we got an apartment and i was helping support the household, paying most of the bills, but i still loved skating and still found the time to do it and there was skate park within skating distance so i went with a new friend one day and it was my birthday actually lol but yeah i broke my leg man, and on a stupid rock and roll too but i had these super stiff Lakai's on and some jean that were too tight but my back foot slipped off the board and turned 180 degrees i shattered my fibula 2 inches above the ankle and broke my big toe and the ball of my tibia at the ankle, as i was on the floor i looked at it and saw it turned around and watched it turn all the way back around slowly, and in the moment any and every negative thought that was available for my mind to comprehend instantly rushed into my thoughts i knew for sure i was going to lose my job and we would get evicted. I also didn't have health insurance because my job didn't provide it to part timers, and i was about to go back to college for firefighting, and so i laid there crying, not because of the pain, it actually didn't hurt any worse than rolling my ankle or whatever, but because of all those negative thoughts. But i didn't lose my job, they were patient with me, and my dad was able to get some sort of financial aid to help with bills and help pay for the medical costs which was a lot lol they almost had to do surgery but by the time i was able to get insurance it was healing perfectly so they decided against it. But yeah i though i was ruined, done, but nope God helped me thru it, he never left me and i nevleft him.
Sorry for the super long and now even longer message bro but i just wanted to put this in here, but yeah i still skate, I'm not a fire fighter, I'm a tile guy. lol but yeah people just gotta keep theyr chin up and aim high, as high as you want to get.
