Frank absolutely calf kicked Tito wayyyyy back before anyone knew it was a thing, Frank for me is a goat, he went on that 12 fight unbeaten streak which is unheard of against the top of the food chain.
It all makes sense when I rewatch the fight. He walked into the cage with Maurice Smith and Tsuyoshi Kosaka. And we all saw how Maurice Smith beat Mark Coleman. Frank was way ahead of his time with those guys in his corner. He was one of the first complete MMA fighters. It's awesome to just think about it.

I started watching Frank in Extreme Fighting then found his Pancrase fights and then watched him in the UFC. His Pancrase matches with Bas are the stuff of legend. His fight against Igor, the rematch with with Lober and the absolute war with Tito. His partnership with Maurice Smith and then his return on Showtime. I am appreciative of his whole career

Memories here. This was my favorite UFC fighter growing up. This is early 90s when my Dad would takes us every Friday night to rent movies at one our spots....back when you would rent movies let that sink in lol. Glory days. But I would always get the newest UFC VHS and re watch that thing the whole weekend. Simpler time. Frank was a beast!
Frank was p4p the best fighter on the planet during his middleweight reign and a huge pioneer/influencer too. The pettiness that Dana has for keeping him out of the HOF makes me feel like it's a popularity contest less a legitimacy contest. If that's the case, it devalues the hof as a whole. Shamrock is an OG and a legend that nobody who loves the sport can deny.

Holy fuck, I never knew Frank was a motherfucking SAVAGE. I was aware of him, saw his fight with Diaz, and how the UFC screwed him over. But never knew about his upbringing, nor have I ever heard him speak in a prolonged capacity. Dude for sure comes off intelligent, I'd love to hear him breakdown today's fighters man. Legend!

Memories here. This was my favorite UFC fighter growing up. This is early 90s when my Dad would takes us every Friday night to rent movies at one our spots....back when you would rent movies let that sink in lol. Glory days. But I would always get the newest UFC VHS and re watch that thing the whole weekend. Simpler time. Frank was a beast!

I loved Frank Shamrock the fighter . He was my first favorite fighter. That said, his personal story and the way he tells it seems so contrived.
I remember seeing Frank Shamrock body Igor Zinoviev and immediately realized what a true fighter is.
Igor was a badass fighter. After Frank KOed him and broke that collarbone Igor was sadly never the same fighter

Frank was p4p the best fighter on the planet during his middleweight reign and a huge pioneer/influencer too. The pettiness that Dana has for keeping him out of the HOF makes me feel like it's a popularity contest less a legitimacy contest. If that's the case, it devalues the hof as a whole. Shamrock is an OG and a legend that nobody who loves the sport can deny.
I knew frank was bad ass but outside the cage i never knew his back story wow. Such a cool humble cat and very kind. Now wonder why he’s so stickin strong and smart

I'm noticing a trend as to why some of the MMA/UFC legends are not recognized or heralded in UFC (the multi-billion dollar company) ... The common denominator is Dana White.
Side Note: Bear & Rampage had to stay professional because Frank seems like he's not into "trendy" behavior. There were a couple of moments i was like "Aaayyyyoooo Bear & Rampage yall going to let that slide!?" 😂😂😂
