It's always hit or miss if Amazon can ship a book in brand new condition. Since it's hardly ever shipped in a box (for my case at least) the book ends up being damaged somehow. You can get great deals, but it's a gamble for it to come practically new
Just found a great deal on eBay for a volume I was missing as part of a holy grail set. It was 85$ which might seem steep but I've seen the same volune sell at 120$....now I just need to find the last 100$+ volune I need and I can finally go back to buying reasonably priced series 😭
I have gotten really good deals on OfferUp, got Black Clover 1-21 (nearly new)for 110 at the beginning of the pandemic, and Naruto 1-34 (good condition overall), did drive abit for these, (half an hour out of DFW)

I wish I would’ve gotten into Yu Yu Hakusho when I started collecting manga because I literally can’t find it anywhere now. I did read it physically thanks to my local library but now I want to collect it because of how good it is. But, hopefully they get restocked so I can get them
Im not sure if u have it but if u dont I recommend you check out tokyo ghoul sometime. Its storytelling is amazing and its characters are so likeable and it really just has so nice action scenes and the cover art is... impeccable...

I used to want to buy mangas on Amazon but after I found out that Amazon has a counterfeit issue in regards to their books I stopped doing so. I'm not risking to get a fake book, I would rather pay more to get it at an actual bookstore or a well known bookstore with an online site. The cheap price isn't worth it if the book is fake.
I'm so upset certain versions of manga are out of print e.e...i bought almost all of one version of fruits basket and they only got the new versions the covers don't look as good to me...maybe I'll happen upon like someone selling at goodwill or thrift store someday

That One Guy it’s a good order from bam I got all 4 volumes of chainsaw man fire force vol 1-8 monster the perfect edition Nd gyo all for a good price only one book came damaged which was fire force vol 6 but they let me exchange for a good copy

If you go to Barnes and noble they price match their online store and they’re pretty much the same price as amazon
