I love my colleagues but man, my boss should watch this video. She can learn from these tips, our company culture freaking sucks. I work at child care, but no one listens to the employees. People have been leaving and they keep hiring the wrong people (imo) and somehow without change they keep expecting improvements.... drives me on the edge of insanity.

Question, coming from a corporate standpoint. What would be the best way for an employee to bring this topic up to the VP of operations since he’s my direct superior? With him being the VP bringing this up about his company culture makes it a little intimidating.
    Thanks!

We might suggest you let him know you appreciate him and the company and mention you caught a good video on company culture on TH-cam recently he might find interesting since that type of thing falls under his wings of leadership. No pressure, just some cool tips in there you thought he might find helpful. Don't imply he has things to fix, make it feel like you're just sharing information as any colleague that cares about the other would. Thanks!

Hire positive people? All candidates would almost always display positivity during interviews.

It's pretty easy to find people who are truly positivity minded.
One of our favorite interview questions is "Tell us about your best job and tell us about your worst job". The response can absolutely be an indicator as to their mindset.

Yes. I’d also comment that 90% of Culture, Marketing, Call Center, and Amway training can be found at any sales job. All employers drank the Kool Aid on how to get the right and keep the right employees. Culture meetings are a waste of time that drains vital energy. Donuts and pizza on the other hand can be significantly motivational for a day.
