How was the wifi range? Do you have another equipment to compare?
I have a TP-Link 1043ND and a Link One L1-RW332(to expand the range), but it's not good, they have many problems in comunications and freeze once in a week at least.
This MikroTik have 1000mW, thats a lot, but in the real world how is it?
There is a big difference between Mikrotik and other normal router like Tp-link, you can customize Mikrotik router in your own and over all performance is awesome in Mikrotik router, Wifi range is good enough of this router, My router install in ground floor and i can use even from 3rd floor (Partly), router runs for a long time 6/7 month with out any restart needs. but wifi range depends on position of the router, for the optimum wifi coverage you need to setup it in the middle of the room.

No need to buy license, there is also some low cost Mikrotik Wifi router available in the market which is cost around 2500/-Tk for Home users.
How do you set up the wireless to have maximum range performance? It's a 1W AP in the router, but the range is average.
Hide your SSID, choose the correct frequency, may be need some trial and
error, set the router top most position and center location will help
you to increase the wireless range and overall performance. it is nicely
work in my ground and 1st floor, where the router setup in Ground
floor.
Brother why does it have USB space?
I have hAP ac lite, and I set guest mode for wifi, I can limit download bandwidth but I dont know how to limit the upload.

Same as like download, go to the queues then select the IP of the machine then select upload and download limit. you can also put series of IP to control the bandwidth. Thank you.

Both is good as a brand, it depends on your bandwidth you use and number of PC, usually 10/100 MB also good for few number of pc. but if you use more, then you go for good resources & speed router. Thank you.
