Even without voice narration, this video was easy to follow and very well presented.Must say since 2016 this is still relevant to MikroTik routers. One can easily follow this video and apple the same instructions to the RB3011. A+

I am in Côte d'Ivoire (West African countries) and I have searched the tutorials on the hotspot configuration of the router mikrotik series RB2011 but I have not found . I was wondering if you could realize that I would really enjoy it. thank you in advance. pierre
in your video "Configure LAN and DHCP on MikroTik Router [part5]" in NAT settings you showed to add one subnet in SRC address and in your video "MikroTik Router RB2011UiAS-IN | configure to access internet" in video while configuring NAT you selected out interface option and didnt select src address..whats the difference ??
For some reason setting a static ip on the WAN ether port doesn't give me a route to the internet but setting a DHCP Client for it does. Very strange because nobody in our network uses 192.168.1.254 ip(that's the ip I wanna set the WAN port as )
Trying to set this up as a wireless router from my cable modem using my iPad to configure, also under interfaces, I have one labeled bridge, you did not in your example
for WAN port you have to get the information from your ISP. Instead of clicking remove config at the start after its been defaulted, I hit OK and it works if your ISP is set to DHCP. May have to call them and give them the mac address of router.

The IP's on the left at the diagram are from your main router? If so just copied mine followed instructions but still wan port says unreachable

thank for ur efforts. do u now how many user can be online without hotspot . just normal connecting. the limitations or capacity of lic and cpu

Will this help me get my full gigabit speeds. The router my ISP gave me only has 1 thernet port and it cuts my speeds in half compared to wifi

This shows how to configure one of the lan ports. THere are 8 more lan ports. How to configure them?
