  • Nature hike 1 person backpacking tent. I’ve also seen this tent called the nature hike bike packing tent And the stuff sack says spider one… So I’m not really sure what they’re calling it. This tent is a 1 person and is lightweight waterproof and budget for sure. I picked mine up on Amazon for $69 on sale. At the time of filming the price had already written to $99. If you were in the market for a one person lightweight backpacking tent, this tent is highly recommended.

Great freestanding tent. I've added extra guys to the ends of mine on the flysheet too. The doors on the flysheet open out and lift up and hook nicely over the small levers on my quick release wheels on an upturned bike. A small tarp over them produces a covered entrance that's enough to be left open overnight for ventilation even when raining. All for 1.4 kg and a decent nylon flysheet.

Good review thanks. Seems like a great little tent, which they haven't named!

You showed the foot and head room inside, but I didn’t catch your height as a reference. Any chance you could divulge that info?

I’m really debating a hammock for that. I have a halfway decent hammock. We need to nail down some dates… Bet we could make some good videos

great review. Can it free stand?

    • @tobystreks5187

It is free standing. With the size and weight of your gears not in it, it wouldn’t take much to blow away so stakes are still a good idea 👍

As of 3-25-24 it was on sale for $85. For that price 3.8 lbs isn’t too bad. You are right though no one would call it “ultralight”

Leave it to this company to not name this tent, makes perfect sense think you could get a medium 40,50L pack in there with ya??

Inside the tent, no. It’s a straight up one man tent. If you used it for a pillow you could, but not beside you. It would fill up the whole vestibule but but it would fit in there.
