hahaha what a classic James looks so concerned. Sean is trying not to laugh. Jmaes looks to the side stage. At the very start, Richey realises how loud he is turned up. classic
Well this shoots down once and for all the notion that Richey couldn't play or wasn't plugged in. He's playing perfectly respectable rhythm guitar here, open chords and power chords. It's a shame that BS gets bandied around so often.
Whoever below said this was in Tipperary is right, I think. There's a video here somewhere of the same performance, introduced by Nicky Wire who says they're at Feile.

Damn, Richey could play really great! Fantastic tone, great rhythm, maximum aggression, no bum chords, and he knew when
'Yeah, I'll play the chord, right after I move this fucking toilet paper I've stuck on my guitar'.
I'm so glad I grew up in the 90s...

If you notice..the soundman at the end turns richies amp(s) down......
James seems angry and Sean's worried/amused expression is win.
If it wasn't for James's Guitar I'd say this is the best performance of La Tristesse!
Richeys style is brilliant!!I want that shirt! + haircut and all of it ffs!!
James' scream of "sigh" after the solo gave me ghoosebumps!
Signed! He is always wearing that ring!
Never tought Richey was that good of an guitarrist. He was the brain behind the band, not the musician.
First time I ever had to turn down the volume on a manics song lol love how they soldiered on. Sean finding it hilarious.

Ha! Love this! Go Richey!
sean cracking up :*****)
FFS JDB sounds so brilliant here as well; had the potential to be my favourite performance as well! Typical.
It Was 1993 Milton Keynes bowl they were one of many support
