Though in the book, she was drunk and a terrible singer, with Badi playing a guitar along with her, but he was equally terrible at playing.

I would have probably come to this conclusion on my own if I was in her position as I've got enough knowledge on this matter but the average person certainly wouldn't. My stupid theory is that when Nanahoshi returns to Earth, she will go back to the very moment before the truck hits her. So, she'll be able to save not only herself but also her two friends. After that, she'll continue to live her life with the memories of the other world (Six-Sided World). One day, she'll write a novel based on Rudeus Greyrat's life and adventure in the other world called "Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation". 😂
That would basically be the only possible happy ending for her, since otherwise she’d be coming back to a world that thinks she suddenly disappeared one day.

Damn!! That was a good friggin episode. I was hoping they'd do the Nanahoshi break down scene right, and they Did. *chefs kiss* Rudy picking up Julie... Heartburst. The Only thing I'd like to have seen, was when they were all on their way to the tavern and begin running into the rest of the group on the way. All in all, great adapted episode, especially Elinalise attempting to quell Cliff's frustration at the summoning circle 😂. Can't Wait for Norn's chapter and hopefully it's done from Norn's pov and inner monologue entire episode. I know many say S2 has been boring, but, volumes 10 through 11 were quiet slice of life Rudy living. The ending will break us all, seeing that pic from the novels adapted, but the entirety of S3 will blow anime-only's away.

I really liked this last episode enough that I was sad that I had to wait almost a week for AniNews, but them TH-cam randomly recommended your video I in the first 5 minutes I was like : That guys seem to love jobless I can see the excitement in his voice, but 40 minutes is a long video, 10 minutes late my game was pause, and I was deep into the video, I'm going to binge backwards to see last weeks skipped content because hearing you talking about Jobless really wants me to read the novel like I did with Overlord. Mushoko tensei seems worth in every possible way
It gives me a giggle to think that someone was just enjoying a nice, cold refreshing bottle of water somewhere in Japan and it just vanishes from their hand, never to be seen again (Or even better, the bottle vanishes, but the liquid within doesn't, and just pours all over them)
I was glad to see the gang come together for Rudy and make forward progress after Nanahoshi failure and breakdown. I was honestly concerned that Nanahoshi was gonna become unresponsive to outside stimulus.

i watched the credits a couple of times, i think the credit you're talking about is in Japanese? Though what i mean is the show itself actually showing 'nanahoshi' singing (maybe showing a bit of visuals instead of the credits just being a black bg, its not really a big deal at the end of the day), but it is still great that its confirmed in the credits 😂

I didin't quite understand the conversation with Rudy and Sylphie Nanahoshi talked about their meeting with Orsted when they went to see her the first time in her tower.
When you describe how the school works I feel Rudy could do what the school can do and more with 1 year of teaching, lul. And probably teach voiceless casting on top of that if the students are young enough. We see throughout the series how he teaches other people and how insanely quikly people pick it up. Either Rudy is a genius (and he is) or the teachers at these schools just flat out suck,

Tsubasa came out in 2004 and was used in the Idolmaster game/anime in 2015. So with this song you can even tell where in time Nanahoshi comes from (either 2004 or 2015).
I've always wondered if Rudeus having such a large mana pool hindered his ability to learn incantationless healing, as in it's so overwhelming/overpowered that whatever feeling he needs to learn it isn't there, the mana don't mix as it does for Sylphie.. There's certainly some plots holes in this but if anyone else has a better guess I'm all ears! Similarly with the Battle Aura, is that caused by his massive mana pool or being reincarnated?
In MT both nature and nurture affect your affinity to magic. Sylphy could master all the basic incantations easily because of her elf lineage. But fire magic is her weakest because of childhood trauma involved with severe burn. Rudy is really strong in elemental magic because of unfair advantage of having some rudimentary knowledge in modern physics, but he is pathetic at healing magic because he doesn't have even a slightest clue how to cure people, let alone doing it from the perspective of world where magic exists.
According to the wiki, Nanahoshi was born in the 90s and was 17 when she was isekaied. That means it happened between 2007 and 2016. If time continued to run as normal (ie, in real time as in our world), then she has been gone for between 8 and 17 years. Her family probably mourned her after she was declared missing, presumed dead. If she _did_ go back, but with no time travel involved, she’d be a woman out of time. She’d have to explain what happened to her. Not to mention the fact that she still looks 17 when she should be 25-34 years old. She’s getting the bad end no matter what.
Ty for the MT "cut content" episodes! Are literally at least 10 times better than the actual episode. Oh...now it makes sense seeing Sylphie heal Rudy (without incantation) after the pantsu "stealing" incident in Season 2 Part 1. EDIT: The plastic bottle could be from another World or from a different time.
I think you're misinterpretting his desire to have a kid with her. It's not that he wants a physical representation of their love, as some sort of acheivement. He's saying, "I don't want a kid for the sake of having a kid (to pass on the family name and all the medieval nonsense). If I have a kid, they will come from our love for each other. They will come from you and from me. No third party."...something along those lines. It's not an acheivement of a checklist for him. That is, unless you are saying the source material explicitly states it that way. As for the anime, it didn't paint it as an acheivement at all.

good video. I sadly feel like the show really nosedived in quality. First part of season 2 struggles but the last few episodes were extremely low budget productions. So many stills, so many static character before a moving background. No joke this took me back to 2005 or so. Absolutely shocking that a studio would dare to produce this in 2024 for a show with pretty solid fallowing. Also them seemingly blant-washing out the self harm could been done more fittingly. I understand showing the clawing out your eyes is a bit too much but hey have her at least bonk her head into the wall and knock herself out. It was wierd how she basicly had such a horrid panic attack she lost contriousness to a point she had to be carried out. Would have made much more sense if she actually bonked herself out against the wall to give it more of an urgency. Would have also worked better to have Sylpie later on heal her headwound rather then "i dont know what to do i tried to heal a mental brakedown"
Listening to you talking about everything that the anime omits makes me want even more to see anime be freed of the 22 minute format. Anime should have flexible length. edit: 30:00 Makes me think if Nanahoshi knew about planar integrated circuits, 2D structures, but no about modern (Very) Large Scale Integration, because the difference between her magic circuit and what they did to make it work is similar (build the circuit in layers instead of all at once). I think is the reason why the magic circuits on the doll look like that, like circuit traces.
But it’s not the length of the episode that’s stopping them from adapting everything, plenty of other anime perfectly adapt the manga without skipping anything and they’re limited to the same run time.

The only reason why shows are 22 minutes long is so they can have 8 minutes of ads on TV, usually 5 minutes break during the show & then a few minutes after it ends before the next show starts. As all TV shows fall into the 1 hour, or 30 minute time slots. All shows start on the hour or at the 30 minute mark. But I don’t know how anime airs in Japan, so they might still be stuck to the TV schedule.
my one minor gripe is that cliff(i think it was) was suppose to be explaining what they did to nanohoshi and she wasnt paying attention then slowly realised that it actually was the solution to the problem. in the anime they dont say anything and somehow she realised its the solution without actually looking at the board at first. other than that i think this episode has been the best this season and really gives me hope for the rest. when i heard this was the director from the strongest exorcist, i was optimistic. it seems it was right to be so.

It is a classic conservative view, but it only talks about the nature of the child. You can even say that adopted children are similar in this aspect: the wife and husband love each other so much that they desire to share it with somebody else. The same act of creation happened in the Thomist view on the macro scale. The Father loved the Son and the Son loved the Father so much that God decided to make humans to share His love with. Please remember that your spouse should always be number one for the family relationship to be healthy. Children being number one is a shortcut to divorce, and that only leads to problems in the child's psyche.

It's not "I want to have a child as a token of our love, so I don't want to have a child with another woman", it is "I want the child with you because I love you, and I don't love any other woman, so I wouldn't want to try to have children with them"
that is just how anime is, the want the most content for the lesser amount of episodes, in writing it is the opposite, the least content for more pages. You can always read the novel, or wait enough for AI to create anime using the novels. I would read, specially the web novel, seeing the original vision, there is a lot of editing, cutting and filler on the light novel .
Probably one more episode and they’ve gone past the manga, absolutely hate when the manga is behind the anime. It’s not as bad as Overlord, we’re wasaaaaaaaay behind the anime there.
honestly especially with Overlord just go and read the LN. Definitly one of the better ones and the translation is also on the better side. I would ditch to manga so fast.

I learned from other fun that the song nanahoshi sang was first presented in season 2 ep9 as the piece that she was humming (around 4'30'').

Pretty sure Sylphie knows, or at least has come to that conclusion. Not sure who else knows. Though that bottle would be a dead giveaway for everyone in that room during the test, considering that it comes from our world.

I guess what I'm getting at, mystery objects aside, IS the existence of other worlds, in the context of dimensions and realities beyond, "common knowledge" to the general populace? Asking as an anime fan only, never read the source LN. Or maybe only a handful of enlightened sages possess such knowledge? Because if the student body never knew of that to begin with, the bottle wouldn't be a "clue" to other worlds.... maybe they could only surmising it came from an unknown civilization somewhere in their world, and only Rudeus and Nana could **understand** its origin.

Honestly, if I was Nanahoshi I'd draw a circle to summon a gun and some ammo just for defense purposes. It wouldn't work on Eris level threats but stone cannon works on most normal people and it would allow her to protect herself if using her shield rings.

I didin't quite understand the conversation with Rudy and Sylphie Nanahoshi talked about their meeting with Orsted when they went to see her the first time in her tower.

I would be surprised if the did the Ruijerd at the port. The anime doesn't often take the focus off of Rudy, they tend to keep it to his perspective.
When you describe how the school works I feel Rudy could do what the school can do and more with 1 year of teaching, lul. And probably teach voiceless casting on top of that if the students are young enough.
We see throughout the series how he teaches other people and how insanely quikly people pick it up. Either Rudy is a genius (and he is) or the teachers at these schools just flat out suck,

Tsubasa came out in 2004 and was used in the Idolmaster game/anime in 2015. So with this song you can even tell where in time Nanahoshi comes from (either 2004 or 2015).

I've always wondered if Rudeus having such a large mana pool hindered his ability to learn incantationless healing, as in it's so overwhelming/overpowered that whatever feeling he needs to learn it isn't there, the mana don't mix as it does for Sylphie.. There's certainly some plots holes in this but if anyone else has a better guess I'm all ears! Similarly with the Battle Aura, is that caused by his massive mana pool or being reincarnated?
maybe because he trained sword fight, his dual class is mage/swordman, while silphie trained magic and healing.
In MT both nature and nurture affect your affinity to magic. Sylphy could master all the basic incantations easily because of her elf lineage. But fire magic is her weakest because of childhood trauma involved with severe burn.
Rudy is really strong in elemental magic because of unfair advantage of having some rudimentary knowledge in modern physics, but he is pathetic at healing magic because he doesn't have even a slightest clue how to cure people, let alone doing it from the perspective of world where magic exists.

According to the wiki, Nanahoshi was born in the 90s and was 17 when she was isekaied. That means it happened between 2007 and 2016. If time continued to run as normal (ie, in real time as in our world), then she has been gone for between 8 and 17 years. Her family probably mourned her after she was declared missing, presumed dead. If she _did_ go back, but with no time travel involved, she’d be a woman out of time. She’d have to explain what happened to her. Not to mention the fact that she still looks 17 when she should be 25-34 years old. She’s getting the bad end no matter what.

Oh...now it makes sense seeing Sylphie heal Rudy (without incantation) after the pantsu "stealing" incident in Season 2 Part 1.

I think you're misinterpretting his desire to have a kid with her. It's not that he wants a physical representation of their love, as some sort of acheivement. He's saying, "I don't want a kid for the sake of having a kid (to pass on the family name and all the medieval nonsense). If I have a kid, they will come from our love for each other. They will come from you and from me. No third party."...something along those lines. It's not an acheivement of a checklist for him.
That is, unless you are saying the source material explicitly states it that way. As for the anime, it didn't paint it as an acheivement at all.

Nanahoshi's breakdown, and then recovery, is not a slice of life story. That's her own Turning Point because this is where she begins to connect with the people of MT world.

I sadly feel like the show really nosedived in quality. First part of season 2 struggles but the last few episodes were extremely low budget productions. So many stills, so many static character before a moving background. No joke this took me back to 2005 or so. Absolutely shocking that a studio would dare to produce this in 2024 for a show with pretty solid fallowing. Also them seemingly blant-washing out the self harm could been done more fittingly. I understand showing the clawing out your eyes is a bit too much but hey have her at least bonk her head into the wall and knock herself out. It was wierd how she basicly had such a horrid panic attack she lost contriousness to a point she had to be carried out. Would have made much more sense if she actually bonked herself out against the wall to give it more of an urgency. Would have also worked better to have Sylpie later on heal her headwound rather then "i dont know what to do i tried to heal a mental brakedown"
Listening to you talking about everything that the anime omits makes me want even more to see anime be freed of the 22 minute format.

edit: 30:00 Makes me think if Nanahoshi knew about planar integrated circuits, 2D structures, but no about modern (Very) Large Scale Integration, because the difference between her magic circuit and what they did to make it work is similar (build the circuit in layers instead of all at once). I think is the reason why the magic circuits on the doll look like that, like circuit traces.
But it’s not the length of the episode that’s stopping them from adapting everything, plenty of other anime perfectly adapt the manga without skipping anything and they’re limited to the same run time.

@@deathdoor Is anime shown on regular TV channels in Japan? The only reason why shows are 22 minutes long is so they can have 8 minutes of ads on TV, usually 5 minutes break during the show & then a few minutes after it ends before the next show starts.
As all TV shows fall into the 1 hour, or 30 minute time slots. All shows start on the hour or at the 30 minute mark. But I don’t know how anime airs in Japan, so they might still be stuck to the TV schedule.
my one minor gripe is that cliff(i think it was) was suppose to be explaining what they did to nanohoshi and she wasnt paying attention then slowly realised that it actually was the solution to the problem. in the anime they dont say anything and somehow she realised its the solution without actually looking at the board at first. other than that i think this episode has been the best this season and really gives me hope for the rest. when i heard this was the director from the strongest exorcist, i was optimistic. it seems it was right to be so.

It is a classic conservative view, but it only talks about the nature of the child. You can even say that adopted children are similar in this aspect: the wife and husband love each other so much that they desire to share it with somebody else. The same act of creation happened in the Thomist view on the macro scale. The Father loved the Son and the Son loved the Father so much that God decided to make humans to share His love with.
Please remember that your spouse should always be number one for the family relationship to be healthy. Children being number one is a shortcut to divorce, and that only leads to problems in the child's psyche.

that is just how anime is, the want the most content for the lesser amount of episodes, in writing it is the opposite, the least content for more pages. You can always read the novel, or wait enough for AI to create anime using the novels. I would read, specially the web novel, seeing the original vision, there is a lot of editing, cutting and filler on the light novel .

Probably one more episode and they’ve gone past the manga, absolutely hate when the manga is behind the anime. It’s not as bad as Overlord, we’re wasaaaaaaaay behind the anime there.
honestly especially with Overlord just go and read the LN. Definitly one of the better ones and the translation is also on the better side. I would ditch to manga so fast.
