Once a home is debunked, it’s VERY important to know how to talk to spirits.
I’ve been talking to spirits for most of my 55 years, and if anyone reading this would like to know the proper way to investigate a home that is occupied with spirits, (meaning how to actually talk to spirits), let me please give you some advice.
They don’t appreciate being treated like trick ponies, told what to do, or given a countdown. The best way to get a spirit to talk to you, is to talk to them like they’re still here... because they are people, even though they no longer have their physical bodies.
And please! If you’re going to ask them if they want help, give them help. If you don’t know how, then don’t offer to help them. It’s cruel.
I always show compassion, and talk to them as people. And countless times, I’m told, “You’re nice.” That’s because I never tell them to do things on command. They aren’t here for our entertainment, which is why they often get annoyed.
My current home was built on a Civil War trail, near one of the paths of the Trail of Tears, and right next door to where a house was used as a temporary funeral home in the late-1800s. When I first moved in, both good and evil spirits dominated my home. But I was able to rid it of all evil entities.
In the beginning, they used to turn on my lights in the living room, and throw parties with music so loud, I couldn’t sleep at night. Or come into my beds room, sit on the edge of my bed, and call my name over and over. I knew they were trying to get rid of me.
But they didn’t realize that I’ve had experience with spirits, and didn’t scare easily. So, I talked to them, with kindness.
Now, I cohabitate with the good spirits, and give them their space. They don’t bother me, and I don’t bother them. Although we do cross paths from time to time. But I NEVER ask them to perform tricks for me. (Though, every so often, they like to let their presence be known, and play little tricks on me. LOL!)
But I never tell them to perform a trick on the count of three, or demand they do anything. If someone goes into YOUR home, and tells you to do something, then counts down by three and expects you to do it... you’d get annoyed, too.
And for those spirits who wanted help... I’ve helped them. You CAN help someone to cross over. Just PLEASE learn how, before you attempt to help them. This is very important! (Which is why I’m not going to explain how to do it here.)
Imagine if YOU’RE desperate for help, and then someone comes into your home and offers to help you... think of how you’d feel, if they actually had NO intention to help, and just walked away.
This is part of the reasons why ghosts are cranky, and tell people to leave. (Although, there ARE cranky ghosts who are just plain cranky, period. That’s their personality. But you can try to be kind, and see if it helps. I’ve been able to get past cranky exteriors, but that’s because I showed them respect and kindness. But it doesn’t always work. LOL!)
Change your tactic. Talk to them. Be friendly. And ALWAYS ask for their permission. You don’t have the right to tell them what to do, so don’t assume they’re going to respond like a trained puppy. Just talk to them, tell them you apologize for invading their space, and ask them if they would please help you to prove that spirits do exist, and that you want to show the world that they really are people, too.
You’d be surprised at how much they appreciate your kindness. And will usually try to help.
But if they don’t want to, please respect their privacy. Again, it would be like someone coming into your home and telling you to do tricks, over and over, until you leave!
If you’re going to investigate homes that are occupied by spirits, please take all of this into consideration, and do it for the right reasons... and not because you’re there for a laugh, or to provoke them into frightening you.
You will have MUCH more success, if you do it with kindness, compassion, and courtesy. ☺️
As a side note: If you’re dealing with a “residual” haunting, meaning there’s a ‘footprint’ of a spirit that is stuck in a time loop, doing the same thing over and over, you won’t be able to get them to respond the same as if they’re an “intelligent” haunting, meaning the spirit was once a person, trapped in this world.
With residual hauntings, you might be able to capture it on camera, or EVP, but that’s about it. It’s just an energetic ‘footprint’.
There are demonic hauntings, or poltergeists, but if you’re looking for basic advice on how to talk to spirits, I will NOT talk about those.
Doing ANY kind of investigation into spirit hauntings is a ‘do it at your own risk’ sort of thing, and I would NEVER give BASIC advice about anything like that.
Just remember: If you’re going into paranormal investigating, make sure to protect yourself (physically and spiritually), and that you are doing it at your OWN risk.

@emily marek Um I have a few questions to ask if I am being honest. Okay, so um, someone I know went with his friends on a small ghost hunting trip and he was a bit scared, but he ended up calming down a bit during the trip with his friends. It was an area near where the revolutionary war spirits had fought, and I think he told me that it was the plantation of general Kolb or something like that. Anyways, he was praying the whole time, and he was respectful to the spirits, along with his friends. Before leaving, he thanked the spirits for their service, and everyone thanked the spirits as well, for their time and also told them to not follow anyone home. So my friend is at peace on the drive back, and when he gets back home, he was calm until it was time to sleep. He was on edge, and scared. He slept, although he had great difficulty doing so. The following day, he told me that something near or inside his house had dropped, and it was a loud noise. He also said that his parents heard the front door being turned as though someone wanted to open the door (granted it was windy as well.). I'm sorry if this is long, but would he be okay? He was respectful and tried to be positive and respectful, although he was scared at the same time and was praying a lot. If the spirits were told to not follow anyone, then would they follow anyways? I'm sorry for this long question
@@namelessarcher7769 There Are 2 types of spirits (Good And Bad)just like humans. Even if you treat someone politely or kindly that doesn't mean you will get the same from the other one. Like wise even if you treat really good to a bad entity or spirit, it will still try to harm you. Because its intention is like that, and you can't do anything about his behaviour or treatment. But I hope that the spirit will not bother your friend anymore, and soon will leave his place.
I quite agree. They are people too. Talk to them as you would want someone to talk to you!

The three English words demon, daemon, and daimon all derive from Greek δαίμων (daimôn), the word for a spirit that served as a link between the human and divine spheres. Daimons could be benevolent or malevolent. They were much lower in the divine hierarchy than gods like Jupiter and Diana.

the first thing I notice is that no ghost hunter never uses actual scientific methods despite what they claim. One night in a house or store is not enough to collect enough substantial evidence for starters. Two they do a "baseline check" But how do you get a baseline off of one reading in each room? It would take months of getting readings every hour of every day and then you average it out and that folks is a base line. Not just a walk around the house during the day time and call that good. Also notice they do this only at night when as humans our vision sucks and it is hard to determine what is real and then they use "night vision" to give everything an eerie look to it so it is scarier. I would love to see these so called ghost hunters actually use an actual scientific method. Stay in the house for 6 months or more and gather evidence day and night. using real baseline readings and stop using "eye witness" accounts or Mediums and proof.
I mean yeah, there is equipment on sale for $50-$200, but the best of the best can be MUCH more expensive

I’m one of those people that were born with all their abilities turned on to full volume, like it or not, and I didn’t like it at first. It was not a good way to grow up, being able to hear and see things nobody else could, got me in so much trouble, my parents took me to a psychiatrist, because my teacher called them and told them that I was talking to myself when in reality I was talking to the spirit of a teacher that died in that school 100 years previous. But believe it or not I have never in my life done an official investigation, because I can’t find anybody to go with me, they’re all too afraid, or don’t believe in it, but thanks for the tips. I prefer to rely on my abilities to contact the other side, I’ve already went out and bought all the toys I could need, I just need to find people willing to go with me! I have a few friends lined up, I just need to convince them that no harm will come to them, because they are both terrified they might get hurt. I told him that’s a ridiculous argument, you could get hurt walking out your front door, so stay tuned, I’m located in Toronto, I haven’t quite figured out a name for my little group yet, but I fully intend to post every investigation online, and I assure you the name TJ, along with Toronto will be in the title. Like any good investigator, we rule out all natural possibilities first, we never ever except one penny for our services, because my gifts are truly a gift from God, meant to help both the living and the dead, and it would be blasphemous for me to except money in exchange for something that got himself gave me. No, I’m not crazy, in fact most people are totally shocked when I tell them about my fascination with the paranormal and my abilities. I’ve learned to ignore the haters and the doubters, because we run into them in every single facet of life, I’m doing this because I have a passion for it, and I desperately want to help people find their way, and help other people who are in pain or afraid. What’s wrong with that? The one thing they never discuss is the first thing I always consider, everything you do as a paranormal investigator is absolutely 100% confidential, yet nobody ever mentions it. There are so many frauds out there looking to swindle people out of their money, if ever you contact a paranormal investigator who actually expects to be paid, hang up the phone, because they are a fraud. No investigator will ever charge you one penny, just to get the chance to communicate with an entity is payment enough, because it’s so exciting, and yes it can be a little scary sometimes, but that just goes with the territory and you get used to it. The only thing I don’t do is demonic investigations, simply because I know my limits, I am not qualified nor willing to deal with any demonic entity, as aside from personal harm, you can make the situation 100 times worse if you don’t know what you’re doing, and I’ve seen it go bad many many times, that is not a path I’m walking down. But like I said in this video, if somebody was a jerk in life then they’ll be a jerk in death, if they were nice in life then they will be nice in death, approximately 99% of all legitimate cases are of a benign nature, very rarely do you encounter a demonic entity, thank God, pardon the pun. Some spirits can appear terrifying, but it doesn’t mean that they’re evil, there’s a big difference between the two. Most spirits simply want to scare the people that are living in what they perceive to be their homes, not realizing Oregon ologies that they are dead. They’ll throw things around, bang on the walls, open cupboard doors, typical haunted house things, but a demonic entities only goal is to possess you and destroy your life, and they can. That’s why I will not come close to that, but I do have a good friend who specializes in just that, he’s also a Catholic priest, So he’s got the backing of Jesus Christ himself. Over the last few years I try to surround myself with people in the paranormal industry, so that when I finally start my formal investigations, I’ll be well prepared, I am already actually, but like I said I’m having a hard time finding people to come with me. @@Kenshiman123 unfortunately, Covid has put a huge dent in every industry, especially paranormal investigations, as 99.9% of the time it’s done in the c,Kent’s home, and while in my working day I’m a medical professional (I’m an x-ray and medical laboratory technologist) I’m well educated in contagion, Covid is something of a wild card, and I can’t risk getting myself, my team, or my clients, sick. Can’t wait for Covid to be over and done with, because despite having all 4 shots, it’s still easily transmissible, a risk I refuse to take.
Funny how all this EMF equipment is supposed to sense or pick up the presence of a spirit, but yet the person (Spirit) holding it, does not trip it or cause a change? We are a spirit, soul and body, when we die, we exit our body...Why do they not detect our own spirit?
I belive our spirit is within our physical bodies, when someone is dead that spirit is no longer trapped within ourselves, which would give off more electromagnetic energy. At least that's what I believe.

Turning the lights off doesn't turn the power off, it's just a circuit.
There would still be electromagnetic fields coming from the wiring.
You would have to turn the power off at the breaker which from the description i'm pretty sure they aren't doing.
Even if they were doing that you know what else has an electromagnetic field?
Cameras, Audio Recorders, Night Vision, basically everything you need to make this ghost hunting thing work in the first place.
I don't even believe in ghosts but this seems geniunely fun to do

I agree with most all comments. However lets not forget that ghosts if they do exist, are a different form of energy and if that is true then we all will be "ghosts" someday. I believe that all you need to communicate with a post livinng energy is simply a recorder and your own expierianc. Yes no one will believe you but only you will know. I think encounters whith the post living energy is rare and rare as in only once in your life rare. It could be a loved one that just wants to say goodbye or a person that wants to tell you that they still exist. But it is most not a creepy ghost and what you see in the movies.

I advise anyone that wants to start this as a hobby not to start, and those that are currently doing it to please consider stopping. I was an avid ghost hunter for over 7 years and even helped produce/host a ghost hunting TV show. I've experienced first hand how dangerous, malicious, and deceptive these entities can be. But that wasn't enough to get me to stop... God's conviction made the scales fall off my eyes and as a Born Again Christian I was able to see the truth for the first time.
As the Bible teaches, all "ghost” are actually Satans demons in disguise masquerading as lost loved ones, or historical figures, or veiled as regular people, which can certainly mess with you and lead you to believe that they are something that they aren’t. These evil spirits can do harm to us physically, mentally, and especially spiritually. Demons have a lie and a deception for everyone - mediums, ghost hunting, tarot cards, psychic readings, fortune telling, divination, seances, or anyone that inquires upon the dead (Deuteronomy 18:10-12) - these are all lies and distractions. Satan would like nothing more than for people to dabble in these occult arts. God’s commandments regarding these things are designed to protect us from the schemes of the devil, who “prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8).
I’ve learned that there is no “middle area” where humans that have passed away can reside and communicate with us. The souls and spirits of the dead are either in Heaven or hell and can’t communicate with the living (Matthew 25:46). But in order to promote the lie that they can impersonate demons, they mimic the voices and mannerisms of those that have died. Convincing those communicating with them that death doesn’t lead to judgment and end in heaven or hell.
God wants all of us (as His children) to follow Him. I pray that you all open up your mind and your heart to Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and God our creator. He changes lives (my life has changed so much for the better after becoming a Christian) and accepting Jesus as the Lord and Savior. God helps heal us, protect us, and guide us. He forgives us of our past sins, and helps guide our lives toward a better way of living. It's never too late for anyone.
What did you do to see or comunicate with these so called Ghosts? I get your warning bro, but I wanna look into why people believe in this.
@@dotahooker8104 - I am reluctant to talk about my past methods of communication because I do not want to encourage any kind of temptation into divination. For this goes against the Lord's commands. I do not think anyone should dabble into this realm, not even in the slightest because the Devil tempts us and then draws us in.
