Unsalted butter 150g｜2/3cup
Sugar 90g｜3/8cup
Whole egg 3｜165-170g
Cake flour 70g｜1/2cup
Baking powder 1tsp
Salt 1tsp
Almond meal 150g｜1.5cup
Vanilla extract 1tsp
Almond flake as needed
Pan size 18cm
Bake at 180°C｜350°F for 35-40 minutes

Made this cake yesterday. Cake came out very well indeed 🎉Used almond flour as that’s what I had at home, also used thinly sliced almonds as didn’t have flaked one and added orange zest along with the vanilla extract. Definitely making it again 🎉

I am not talented when it is to bake things, and I often ruin the bake products.. I tried this recipe, but I didn't add vanilla. It tastes so delicious with strong butter and almond flavor. This is the best cake I have ever enjoyed eating and it is made by me.

Hi , Just check with you. I’m tryouts today and I am using Pan size 18 CM. 180’ 35 min come out the cake below burn. Should I’ve use 170’ for 35 min ? Kindly advise. Thanks
