Great video mate, you need to get a chest mounted go pro to go from your main drain to the other, leave your main camera set up,it will save you keep lugging your tripod from one to the other, then just interlock footage in the edit
Grand job again💯‼️I sure understand how hard and frustrating it is to working in a confined space to help your customers, but you succeeded through it all🤙🏽🌺🍍🌴✝️🤙🏽🇬🇧🤙🏽
I live in the U.S. About 4 months after moving into our home, I noticed there was a leak coming out of the kitchen ceiling. Called the local handyman and he cut a huge hole in the ceiling. Then proceeded to tell us that we needed new plumbing. So I called a plumber who said there was a blockage. Asked if anyone was flushing wipes down the toilet. Found out our daughter-in-law had been doing this. Since our home is around 90 years old, the main access to the pipes in located on the landing going into the basement. He opened it up and OMG. The baby wipes that came out and solidified fat. Yep. Daughter-in-law was pouring grease down the drain. That was 3 years ago and I haven't repaired the hole in the ceiling. I think subconsciously I've left it as a reminder not to put anything down the drain but dish soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper and liquid cleaning solutions. What a mess that was.
Expensive soaps will do this. And I’m sure now we’re all washing loads at lower temps it’s not dissolving the powders like it used to. Great video as ever though. 👍🏻
hi i used to have a customer who used Dove soap and every 12 months the bathroom waste was blocked solid just like soap powder and fat.3 people used the bathroom , so it was on its own spur into the manhole, nasty greasy shit.
People forget there are fats in soaps, shampoo etc. Furniture wax, floor waxes, laundry soap. Some of that seems really old buildup that may not have come out last visit.
Last visit, I completely cleaned the whole pipe through, went through it about 4 times, this was new, I think it was his washing machine and dish washer.
Washing powder shouldn't cause an issue, unless it's formulated different in the UK. it's wipes and other foreign objects that are the issue usually. Why is there a rat trap in the sewer?
Washing powder in the UK is a big problem, it solidifies back to solid form once it goes cold, The Rat trap is to stop Rats causing damage in the main sewer line, also stops them getting into the house through the WC.
Great to see professionals at work.
Thank you Clayton

It only takes 1 wrong item to start a build up, as its out of site, it becomes no problem until a major problem occurs, glad you got it sorted.

Those dastardly guests and their wipes.
Yeppers, wipes don't flush...even the ones that say "FLUSHABLE"!!!

It seemed a bit foamy so I think it washing powder.
I wish you would have gotten the gully grabs , and fished out the white lumps?😂 looked like fat to me 🤔
I think so too
