Me: 5 days: anazing
I have played piano casually for 8 years and I can barely play to the level of his 5 years, trust me guys, I was self taught, and never learnt to read music, however, rather than being a thing to brag about, it is something to regret. If I could go back to the start, I would have learnt properly, and where I am now would have been accomplished in 3 years, and I would be able to read music, and do proper fingerwork rather than the sloppy mess I am on piano now.
well don't give up you still have the chance go practice!
Tbh i thing you get the most fun out of playing casually, cause then you decide when you want to play, and how much and dedicated you want to play
I just started playing piano (about 1 month) and I made a note on my phone for songs/pieces I want to learn by youtube videos. I can do like 3 songs now and I really enjoy playing. Should I learn how to read sheet music and or attend piano lessons?
@@simianto9957 Probably, If you are serious. I am lucky enough to have perfect pitch, and big hands, which can make up for a lot of my shortcomings when it comes to self learnt, however, If you actually want to become really good, and not just good, at piano, you need to get some proper technique.
@@simianto9957 sheet music is really important and will help more than just youtube videos
This is so accurate definitely not like one of those simply piano ads, quality content, I can say so cuz I myself can relate to it, this was close to my progress throughout time!!
" *Speed* comes by practicing *slowly.* " probably one of the best quotes i have ever heard
This is like Russian roulette, with a piano like which hand “dies” first
Yesss
🤣😂
"If you can play it slowly, you can play it quickly"
What?

This video made me go back to piano after I stopped playing it for 3 years , much love
Anyone else imagining themselves playing this and impressing everyone or just me?
Omgg yes me too
I do this a lot. From singing to playing a guitar, I think of all this in my head when actually..my voice cracks every second and I can barely play guitar, heck I haven't even TOUCHED a guitar. :')

Me: I play the piano for 6 years!
Reality: I have it in my house for 6 years and learned only to play "Happy Birthday"
I’ve been playing for 8 months can already play fur elise and start of moonlight sonata 3rd movement:D
The 10 years beat was a theme of one of the Tom and Jerry episodes in which Tom was playing the piano🤘🤘🤘
Nostalgic
I got a simply piano ad....
Meaning...
PACIL is learning from SIMPLY PIANO
Genius
Same lol
3:06 I’m getting flash backs of that Tom and jerry episode
Check out my cover with music arround the world in my channel.. !!😊
Same
been messing with piano for 8 months and i cant even do the correct hand posture still
Can we just all appreciate how satisfying it is to watch the virtual key things just disappear so smoothly? Thanks for your video now I can learn a bit of every song lol!
edit: thx so much for 146 likes!!!
100th :D
How is the software called?
@@Trading-Gains idk honestly lol
Can we just talk about how much this guy can express different emotions through his hands alone?!
I've learned piano for almost 8 years and I'm not even close to the 3 years in this video 😀😀🔫
Me: Learned for 10 years but still cannot handle Chopin-Fantasie Impromptu.
Also me: *I suck*
@@milesprosper8534 sure u can
Don’t worry sis I’ve learned piano for 3 years now and still can’t play the 6 months 😃🔫

1 month of piano, hours every day and I can almost play fur elise
I have been playing piano for 8 years
And trust me, this guy must be some kind of genius lol
What took him 5 years took me something like 7 years lol
@Mat Stan Talent. You have exceptional talent my guy.
A true artist is not measured by the level of skill or technical knowledge, but by the passion they have for their art.
That's a neat way for not talanted people to break it to them xddd
I've been playing the piano for about 6 years and I'm not even close to his 3 years 😭
Practice. Don't underrate your self
If he can do it, den u can
Do you practice every day?
I didn't (that explains everything lol)
I was bored bc I didn't know any of the song so I didn't practice 🙂👍
@@chip1618 I know. Happens to all of us including me. My brothers have no problem playing well.
It is a matter of practice, I have been 3 years old and I can play what he has in 5 years, and I am 14 years old, it is only effort and dedication, studying 40 hours a day
I can't believe that he sat there for 10 years for filming the video!
🤪
Loll

No matter wheter anyone can reach the repective "levels" in whatever amount of time or not... I fully agree with the message to simply continue to make music, love music, .. there is satisfaction on every level. Just go on and find yours!
It seems Tom had 10+ years exp of playing. him being able to play that lizst piece quite amazing wish I could do that too.
NICE!
The 10 years song reminds me of the really old tom and jerry episode were it was them becoming famous pianist
It is the same
Because it is
I Agree
10 years? You meant having SimplyPiano for a month, right?
Lol
You selling ad’s here, right? (This is a joke lol)
I hate those ads
@plasalgia yea i am using it too and its improving my sight reading as a beginner
@plasalgia its good to start with but not something you need to actualy learn. not that it the apps fault, if you wanted an app that teaches you piao, thats ur best bet. but learnign with a teacher is uch quicker. ( if ur teacher is good)
1:50 “if you can play it slowly, you can play it fast” 😂 I just remember them

Well, I've been learning saxophone for the 5 last months and felt a bit discouraged these time due to lack of progress (never learnt an instrument or theory before)... Sax seems not as difficult as piano, but you somehow gave me some energy to go forward, thanks to you so much :)
as a saxist here’s some tips
1- make sure you aren’t practicing incorrectly. look up good study habits and methods for the sax, they tend to be really good
2- SCALES
3- SCALES
4- SCALES FFS
Look, I do not play the piano nor the saxophone, but both of them seem hard as fuck. Keep going, dude, I believe in you
