1 Day vs 10 Years of Piano

- If you don't have this progress it doesn't mean you won't be a good musician. Everyone has their own times, do not let anyone tell you that you are not good, if someone does it, forget it, study and love music.
With sacrifice and patience you too in 10, 20 or 30 years, it doesn't matter, you will have your satisfactions.

Thank you for your kind words during this video.

I just got a keyboard 2 weeks ago at 28 years old. I am taking lessons and still sound somewhere between the day 1 and month 1, but it's so fun!! If you're anything like me, you will sit down to play your lessons and an hour will pass before you know it
I'll come back here when your 37.
The fact that he didn't say 1 Year= 3rd movement of Moonlight Sonata is huge thumbs up for me
Lol, I was thinking the same thing..
I took piano lessons for 14 years now and I can proudly say that I graduated in piano. It took a while but it was definitely worth the efforts. I now play every song beautifully that I want to learn. Give me a song to play and I'll learn it in a few hours. Maybe weeks if it's very difficult or maybe minutes if it's easy. I've also done many concerts and have performed in marriages and bars. At first it was very stressfull but now I'm used to it and don't feel stressed anymore at all. A lot of my friends told me that I should do it full time because it actually pays very well but I want to chase my dreams into becoming an electrical engineer... yes I'm asian if you guessed it. Yes I also play chess...

Anyone who says fur Elise is a beginner piece hasn’t played the whole thing
It is for the biginners bcs there are olny two parts that are hard to actually play and you need just to practice them
Practice and it gets easy. Most people only know about the easy part so it’s definitely harder than they think.
My dad can play it since 20 years :)
I can only play Fur Elise with 80 bpm
I suck at that song when blindfolded but can play the first part well
01:44 As a drummer, I can totally agree with this lesson. I´ve been playing now for 6 years and this is now, where the real hard coming to my mind to play.
I just started playing piano starting with fur elise as my first song and without getting any classes. In few days i mastered it by myself with no guidance. It took me few days to get my hands smoother like pro in fur elise.
My suggestion is that beginners should start with fur elise coz it is very enjoyable
And u will literally enjoy it playing
Fun fact: i dont know how to read a single letter of musical words .i just started by seeing keys
I've been playing for a little over 2 years now, and yesterday I was at a hotel for a party and in the lobby there was a piano, my friends kept pushing me to play it so I eventually did. I doubted my playing thinking it wasn't good enough for people to hear but once I started playing I couldn't stop, and when I was finished 2 total strangers came up to me and gave me money, that was one of the greatest moments ever for me as a pianist, to have complete strangers recognize your talent is a feeling I can hardly describe. So I will continue to play and develop my skills so I can do better every new time my hands touch the keys.
