    Just did this job on my 2009 Corolla S. After 160,654 Original plugs. I did it as preventive maintenance, never had a misfire. Denso spark plugs are very reliable.

    I just changed to Toyota spark plugs like 3 days ago on my ‘95 Corolla XL. I can now drive
    120 km/h😆

    A swivel socket makes it so you don't have to fight with that plastic shield :)

    So dealership uses the LL iridium plug. Will the TT iridium plug be ok? The specs seem to not the TT is better than the LL.

    I live in Western Australia and trying to get a 9/16" (14mm) spark plug socket with 1/2" drive is impossible. Looks like I'll have to buy online

    Technically, the coil pack can be installed in any cylinder and is interchangeable. It's just one coil pack can be used in any cylinder. Same goes with the spark plug.

    I appreciate to get an answer ASAP. I just recently bought the same plugs from dealership. The manual states the gap should be 0.43in but the plugs are 0.40in. should I open to 0.43, return it or replace it as it is. THANKS!!!!!!

    • @EnthusiastsGarage
      @EnthusiastsGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, that’s a minute difference and you’ll damage the iridium if you try to re gap them.

    • @hamidwalid3089

      @@EnthusiastsGarage so should I return it and get a pre gapped spark plug or just replace it as it is (0.40in)?

      @@EclipseDante I've done one 10K interval & went to 5k. I have 114k on mine and just added 3 oz of oil and I'm due in about 900 for a change.

    hey did you feel any difference in the car after installing the new spark plugs ? any improvement on mpg ?

    • @EnthusiastsGarage
      @EnthusiastsGarage  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No, you normally won’t. If you do feel a difference the plugs were probably in really bad shape and long overdue.

  • @sabrinam7929
    @sabrinam7929 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    So the plug doesn’t have to be set.. does that mean it doesn’t have to be gapped? New learner here.

    Dear Sir, I have 2016 Toyota Camry model 2017 and at 90000 km noticed that my fuel consumption is getting high , so I changed with original denso iridium spark plugs , now noticed that my engine is working more quieter. I think 100000 miles or 120000 miles is a competitive advertisement and we should listen to the engine and ignore the limits , our oil filter is from paper so it can not last more than 5000 km . So change oil and oil filter together every 5000 km .

      At any time after the 100k miles or if there is any misfire problems. Look for videos in TH-cam of how a misfire sounds so you would be able to identify that particular sound of an engine misfiring.

    Instead of oil perhaps use anti seize.

    • @zwierciadlany
      @zwierciadlany 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      no oil, no anti seize at all for denso !!! If any kind of lubrication used you must decrease torque by 20% !!!
