Yes, this is the best Fasolasuchus taming video! Why? Because he takes his time to really understand what is best and then makes a quality video. It’s not always about who makes the first video… That’s one of the reasons Nooblets is the best Ark TH-camr!
This was especially apparent with the Oasisaur video. All the initial videos from everyone were like "it's so easy! just shotgun some vultures!" None of the other videos even showed the different waves.
Problem is, we already knew the same day it was released, but came in lime he telling the whole world for the first time 🤣🤣. I fucks with him, but allow the big headed intro, when you late to the game haha
I have a rhyniognatha from a previous map so it was easy for me to move the Faso where I need too!! On of the high cliffs there is tons of crystal and obsidian! I just build a wall around the edge using walls and pillars (no foundations) as the walls won’t knock you off. Tamed it supper fast this way!
big tip for my single player homies they share spawns with deathworm's so if you can't find any kill a couple of deathworms and they should pop around the area in a bit
Another good thing to use is the sand rocks, they do torpor in between a regular rock and a salt rock but there’s usually a ton of them around certain areas
I just remembered your channel! I used to watch back in the days or old ark and for some reason it not subbed anymore. Glad to see you’re still making content!
Id make a suggestion on this which is to set up way points before you tame them, leave them at 1,2,3 etc and avoid the oasis with any ruins or water veins as those will both dismount you. Out in the desert is plenty of salt only deposits and are usually spaced about 500 meters from one another. Also carry a sleeping bag as it's quite common for it to ko on top of you lol
I honestly don't get why everyone is always asking for unique taming methods for every individual creature. Every unique method wildcard has ever added sucked. Simple knock out tames have always been the most fun in my opinion
I like the idea of unique taming methods, but Wildcard almost always go too hard with them. This one would’ve been fine if the torpor bar just went up at least 3 times the rate that it does atm.
Love the video, me and a friend tamed a lvl 300 on our cluster server, and it took 3 hours to knock it out but we got it. Soul crushing tame to be sure if you go after a max lvl one
the new ways to tame these new creatures is super cool and creative. im a big fan of the really broken op tames having their own "mini game" style taming
This guide is really good, but I do want to add the point about de-aggros: the (little) experience I've had doing this, I found that even on foot, the fasalo de-aggros in around 30 seconds as long as it doesn't hit you. I would strongly recommend that you *avoid* wild dinos, because then once it does lose aggro on you it will attack everything else, and it takes longer for it to go back underground so you can start to KO it again a little faster. I am absolutely prepared to get eviscerated for this, this is just what I found whilst doing this myself.
85 25 also has a few safe metal nodes +100s of rocks, got half of a 145's torpor only from them, got only simounted once, also try to stay whit the back to the dismount walls, so its harder to go into them
I knocked out a 135in about 15mins after several failed attempts going through hundreds of grenades. Something I want to point out during my attempt on the 135 is that I noticed an increase in torpor when hitting rocks when I was about to lose control or while I was at a higher speed (either from going downhill or not hitting something for a bit). That said I started with salt nodes by the arena and went North towards blue ob from there once out of salt I stuck to large groups of stone/bone along the edge right before completing the bend that brings you to blue ob. Hope this can help someone because taming these things are what nightmares are made of lol.
Something me and a friend realised is that when taming one don't tame one each at the same time took much longer than it needed to but thanks for making such a great video
Yeah it is kind of crazy when everyone just says “hit the rocks it’s easy.” I tried that with a 115 and it took me 2 hours and 20 C4 to just give up. I will also say if you have server transfer enabled, you can bring a Rynio over to pick the fasalo (not sure if quetz can as well). With that in mind should I do the Salt strat or should I take a fasalo to metal/crystal nodes?
last night I was bashing into rocks for 2.5 hrs taming a 150 on official, whilst dodging idiots trying to kill it.. Not an enjoyable taming method at all, shit made me dead inside afterwards but I ended up taming it in the end
@@BareBuilds That sounds like THE worst experience of all time. Its a terrible enough method to knock it out, I cant imagine it being any better with official setting and a group of griefers. For that I hope you never have another situation like that again.
I think the salt method is still best because even if you can pick it up, i personally keep falling off mountains when i try to lead it to metal which makes it kick me off. Salt is in more open areas which makes it easier to just ride between the salt nodes and remount if you ever run out of control
@@indo1354 man tell me about it, the fact I can barely control the thing and it's always 150+ ping as well... hopefully they make it easier to tame since hunting for metal nodes is ridiculous
could you mark each metal spawn and then use Re-Fertilizer to get them back when the thing kicks you off so after you hit a metel and then get kicked off run up to the mark and use Re-Fertilizer to bring the mtal back? so iether ping it or put a pillar next to it so you know where to stand to do the Re-Fertilizer
Actually hitting some rocks that are not salt or iron works as I did tame one by losing control and going to a place with bigger crushable rocks. I tamed my Fasola with prime meat as that was the best I had at the moment. Used wyvern to follow me because the argy couldn’t keep up with the speed of the Fasola.
Yep this is how I got all of mine, I use a wyvern on follow however as it keeps up better. 2x I hadthe bloody things KO and I got stuck inside of them, be prepared to toss all your gear in it and eat that implant...but make sure you don't xfer and food you did not want to use to tame!
Goodluck doing this on servers as any amount of lag while hitting rocks will knock you off or if the server has any delay at all you will ramp up the rocks and it will knock you off it took me hours to get it also the faso is aggressive towards everything so kill everything around it every time
Same thing happened to me the first time. I try to keep nothing on my body so that if that happens I can respawn at a sleeping bag I placed somewhere nearby
Can this thing bury itself anywhere? Like can you bring it on The Island and it will bury itself into the foresty ground and rocky terrain like it's sand?
I have a question for the taming Does player made structures like a gate work? I seen the part with the foundations but i want see if gates work like crash points or does it dismount you
Would advise anyone trying to tame a Fasolasuchus to bring a ranged weapon. If you fall off a Faso when trying to escape and the Faso aggros onto something else the Faso has a tendency to not directly face the creature it is attacking and ends up missing entirely, so it might be up to you to kill the creature its fighting. I say ranged over melee, as getting too close will cause the Faso to redirect aggro to yourself, and you may have to defend the Faso from Arthropluera that can cause recoil damage.
Are you going to do a video on stealing wyvern eggs? Most of the videos I could find for ASA have god mode on and you always show yourself doing things legit.
I keep telling ppl just do it in open desert by salt rocks. It just so much better than regular rocks. Even if u get dismounted by ruins in the desert rhe salt rocks make up for the 10 million rocks. Plus, almost all salt rocks in the open desert are by themselves not by ruins...he will lead u to the salts himself

A real cheeky move is to use a resource map to find the salt out in the desert
I plan on mapping out an optimal path for it myself. Maybe have a mate clear the trees from each spot right before I get there to make it even easier
