nice to see DimSimLim in KL....i am local but have not joined the queue to try Unc Roger fried rice....just too many options with much less hassle and Pavillion prices....thnk for the review...motivated a little to make my way to there soon...
$132.33 USD for ALL THAT FOOD?! Here in rural northern California, that's almost exactly enough to buy all 11 chicken plates from our local Chinese place. If you go for beef or God forbid, prawn dishes, you're outta luck. These are just the combo plates that come with steamed/fried rice or chow mein. Not to put the local guys down at all, because the food's great and this IS California after all. $12 for a combo is pretty good even up here. It's hard to see exactly how many items were on that menu but Step 2 has 10 items, they considered the spag & cheese another item, and you have choices of your rice and noodles. Overall, especially for a posh mall, this seems like a good deal.
You can easily see where the bias _can_ come in even in this video. They're Uncle Roger fans so obviously it's likely that they'll lean more positively than someone who didn't know who he was at all. That being said, they said nothing that makes this review seem unreasonable.
