If I had gone I would never have left. It looks like it was a fantastic retreat, you and your parents put in a huge amount of work, as you do with everything Fabled Thread related.
Really enjoyable seeing the retreat- looked such a lovely way to spend a couple of days! I love how you start with colour for your design process - will definitely give it a go!
This was a delight to watch...from your organization to the creative support to your amazing mom (and food) to the most amazing cozy place to retreat ever. I wasn't there but I feel so much enjoyment from witnessing all the love and hard work you and your mum put into this. I even shared your channel with my mother-in-law in the Netherlands as she is shut in and a needlecrafter. She just loved it!
Wow wow! This looked like a fabulous retreat! So envious to the amazing group who experienced this! I sadly missed the second retreat, but there is so much inspiration everywhere else, it feels like I am there, ha! I love the continued connection afterwards. It is very important to feel that support, and see the final pieces. Also, just making those lasting friendships is priceless.❤
Oh wow. I love how you inspire people. I would not know where to start and then I would have to make a decision. I love your style and attitude to creativity
Your parents place looks amazing! I can only imagine how much hard work went into getting this all together. Totally inspirational. Well done Eppie! (And your lovely parents)
I’m so jealous! I live in the US and would probably never have the opportunity to attend one of these but I really enjoyed attending vicariouly! Your parent’s house is so warm and cozy. It’s very evident where your creativity and passion comes from.
What i would have given to have this close to me! I've never done a stitching workshop much less a retreat, but my goodness it looks wonderful. I have taken some of your inspiration and design advice to heart and i think i have some areas to focus on, color and display. I will have to one day stitch a long piece like you do so often, these long pieces add to the fable feel of fabled thread. I treated myself to new threads (dipping my toes into perle!) and ill pick color palettes before my design 😮 😅 like you suggested. Ive only framed a few of my pieces but i think i really have to bite the bullet and finally buy some frames with the intention of it being part of the piece, rather than an afterthought. Thank you for showing this retreat, what a beautiful and unforgettable experience for all attendees.
Wow! I'd just like to go visit your parents! What a lovely home and family. It looks like loads of delicious fun! PS Have you ever thought of making stencils to simplify painting the frames?
Thank you! they are absolutely delights!! Ah we do actually sell a range of stencils for that reason - I generally prefer freehand as I think sometimes stencils can be a bit of a false economy if you have to touch them up, cleaning etc. but I think if you are new to painting they are a good way to build confidence!
Wow everything about the course looks fabulous. your parents house and support is beautiful. Your enthusiasm and knowledge is so inspiring, I really want to come to the next retreat. Just about to sign up for the freestyle embroidery course online and cant wait to start 😍
They are the most amazing support and love hosting too! The moment it finished they both said “shall we do another?” Haha - so if anything they are coercing me into more! I love it!

Thank you so much! The good thing about a fixed time period retreat is that you cant be indecisive!!
Your parents place looks amazing! I can only imagine how much hard work went into getting this all together. Totally inspirational. Well done Eppie! (And your lovely parents)
Thank you!! Yes it’s such a lot of planning and just so exciting though when it all goes as intended and everyone leaves happy!
