I love my Kevin irons, I just wish he didnt make such sharp edges on the handle. Can be a bit unconfortable. How would you compare it with KS blade(stitching quality-wise)?

I have a couple of sets from Kevin both french and diamond and neither have what I consider to be sharp edges. They could use just a little bit more refining but that would have to be reflected in the price. I do see what you mean but still a pretty good quality tool for the money.

@@pfitz671 Don't get me wrong, Patrick. I think Kevin's irons are exceptional for the money. And the edges are about the only "problem" I came across using them (maybe there is a difference between batches as well, idk). I am wondering how butt heavy Kevin compare to tip heavy KS blade. The tip heaviness has its advantages I suppose. And also the difference in overall stitch looks between the two.

What size thread did you use...?

Good question. Using a 3.85 and a 3.0mm with the same thread size will achieve different looking results. Looks like some 0.8mm thread.
