    I have used these irons and the ks blade punch ones, both excellent choices for the beginner and Amateur.

    With this iron do you stitch directly after punching or do you need to use an awl after punching?

    Never used Euro style irons. I don't think we can afford them! But I really appreciate those perfect angled dashes.

    Thank you for the review! You have a very nice tutorial on how to sharpen Japanese pricking irons like the Kyoshin Elle. Could you do a video on how to sharpen Crimson irons? They come quite sharp to be sure, but they will need to be tuned up from time to time.

    Love the videos! Why do you prefer Japanese style pricking iron over French style?

    Just got the KS blade diamond stitching irons...has a 45° angle, 2mm teeth width which is my comfort zone. I have some euro irons too from a guy in Singapore, in 3, 3.38 and 3.85mm...gorgeous highly polished. If u want to have a look just reply and I’ll send u a picture
    ....sgd86 for a set of 2, 5 and 10 teeth, 2mm teeth width
    Wuta is 2.2mm

    Hi, where is your review for pricking doldokki? And according to you, is a chartermade knife better than a doldokki blade? Because to my knowledge, doldokki blades made of D2, RC 60??

    • @leathertoolz
      @leathertoolz  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Doldokki knives are HSS(SKH-51) and HRC, I am not sure.
      it depends what kind of steel you prefer, I think fit and finish wise, Chartermade is off the roof

      Yes, we talked while ago. Thanks for still watching my channel Anders. Sweden is a great country for steel, knives. I've bought some steels from Sweden for my future knife making. I know PUUKKO knives are famous from Sweden. I will visit Sweden one day for sure. : )
