That's why civil engineering graduates mostly eventually go abroad and change their stream to something that has scope in abroad. Like computer science or MBA or something like that.

All civil engineering jobs abroad are filled by the local civil engineering students of that country and very very few people will be willing to do the paperwork to hire someone not from that country. If settling abroad is the ultimate goal, choose computer science engineering or try to do masters in CS atleast even if bachelor's was in something else.

Core engineering is useless. People from top engineering colleges, who didn't learn to code are switching to SSC CGL preparation. I was getting all branches at BITS Goa campus, and electronics at BIT Mesra. Still I wasted my jee preparation by taking civil engineering.
