There is no problem in government job but when it comes to private sector, the salary of civil engineer is much less than that of the another department and even the government employee salary less than like another branch like CSE- software developer.

@@sonaxi9811 sure my father forced my brother into civil engineering now he's jobs less but my father was a company manager he used to give money for every railway gvt employee a 1000rs on one lakh bill imagine one of my site which my father managed it's 10cr in 2015 each and everyone took money with party's in bars I used to sit beside them have seen all that this world doesn't give money too people who does hard work....

there is no separate branch called robotics in any reputed college of india, also specialization in Robotics is not very lucrative as there are lesser institutes which actually have a good robotics department. So do some research before joining any "COOL SOUNDING" course.

सिविल इंजीनियर ना होते तो सरिया ना होता ।। बहती हुई कंक्रीट का दरिया ना होता ।। कोई हसीना हमारे रंग से भी प्यार करती।। यदि धूप में घर ना बनाते तो मुंह करिया ना होता ।।
avg. starting core civil salary after top iits, nits is 60k- 1.5 lakhs/m.
for mid lvl nits, iits it's 40k-60k , some also gets 1L+. plus lot of govt.job opportunities.
but not much placements in lower tier colleges.
at 90% of clgs very few people study core branches deeply they just opt for it jobs with much higher salary.
it's very common for an experienced civil executive engineer/ architect/ manager/ site engineer etc (involved in any construction industry)to earn atleast
6-7 lakhs/m.

It depends on your college, knowledge (management, technical problem solving), role of jobs, company, luck etc . But on an average it's 10 - 20 years.

Yes he can become but he has to crack IRCB exam, isro is hiring pilots to be an astronaut.

Becoming astronaut in isro requires that you clear the isro exam after graduation, it has nothing to with aerospace engineering, if you're a physics honours or mech engg or electrical engg or simple science graduation (bsc etc) you're eligible for exam and eligible to become an astronaut ( later on depending on ISRO requirements at that time )!
