A couple weeks ago a guy pulled up next to me in my RCF and said “nice f sport” 😂 I said it’s an F but he thought I was kidding. Wish they never introduced F sport to avoid confusion. Nobody knows what F is except for enthusiasts.
But you showed him the difference when the light turned green right!? 😆
They do the same with my ISF.....I love it. Especially when other guys that drive other lexus cars and I show them what's up

Toyota/Lexus don't even understand it anymore, hence the recent RC-Fuji Fuji edition xD
@@senorbonbon they’re all good cars and are all basically the same. IMO it’s not worth the price for the facelift, unless you just really like the looks. A nice low miles 2015-2016 is one of the best bargains out there. You get a lot of car for the money.
F is basically the AMG of Lexus, F sport is more of a appearance/sports package, will usually including better suspension tuning,brakes, and exhaust, but F sport isn't faster than base model in a straight line
I have a 19 inch rims rear wheel drive 4 wheel steering etc.. gs 450h f sport and love it. It had to be an F for the extras. Car feels sporty and cars a beast and reliable since I had it.
F Sport is just an appearance package
+ suspension and LSD
F car has all of the suspension, brakes, cooling systems, interior, powertrain/HP and even chassis/body panels etc. (for example, RCF is 80% different than the RC350 F-Sport and they share no body panels). F-Sport is appearance plus a slightly firmer suspension and a bit better brakes etc.
Not the IS500 which basically has the GS F chassis minus the rear axle goodies.
@@yousef.al-assaf I own a 2019 IS350 F-Sport and what you said is partially correct in the sense that they are related. IS350 is 185 inches long while the GS is 194 inches long so there is almost a foot difference. IS chassis is basically a shortened version of the GS platform.

@@yousef.al-assaf Its not. Only the front subframe is AL the rear uses stamped steel LCA, the chassis is not as rigid as GS F or RC F.
I have a 2016 IS350 F Sport...also supercharged like Marty's old lexus...I wish I had the 6 speed transmission vs the 8 speed transmission. Love everything about the car. Can't wait to get a V8 lexus tho and supercharge that one too
I calculated roughly the ride frequencies for IS, ISF, RCF, GSF and LC500. The ride frequencies of IS F sport and LC500 were similar to M340i's. The ride frequencies of ISF/RCF/GSF were similar to M3's.
F vs F Sport is literally the same as BMW's M and M-Sport

great information and great video i like the looks of the ISF and their exhaust tips there are unique from most of the other V8 exhaust tips.

It can get confusing. I saw some guy with I believe it was a 2009 Lexus IS250 it had Alcantara seats and I think he said it was the sport package. How many years was this car made and are they all basically the same from 2006 to 2010?

Good info except you forgot about the IS500 F Sport performance. The only F Sport with the 472 hp 2UR-GSE.

@William Toti I read thru the comments before saying the same thing, Bill. Yeah, he mentioned the IS 500 FSP but didn't explain it. He did show the pyramid, which is the new hierarchy, but hasn't been realized yet thru-out the product line, so confusion to non-Lexus people is still the reality. Oh, and if viewers haven't read between the lines yet, like Bill, I own a 2022 IS 500 F Sport Performance.

My F Sport Performance has a V8 2UR-GSE which debut on the '08 ISF.
Wish they made it a real F, because I like the styling. The brakes aren’t very good at all in the is500

Since some of the production number for the RC-F is blank, let me fill it in for you. RC-F sales number in the US as follows: 2251 in 2015, 1195 in 2016, 670 in 2017, 352 in 2018, 325 in 2019 and 293 in 2020.

I have a F sport and it’s sooo sexy. I get tons a women in it and street race for fun all the time I love my F sport such a sexy looking car I have a 250 F sport from 2012 it’s so fucking sexy hahaha I’m in love❤
