Hello Friends! Thank you for visiting with me! Please let me know if you have a favorite grey that I don't have in my collection. As you can see, I love greys! I neglected to mention in the video that I purchased all of the wigs shown. There's only one that I didn't purchase and that one a friend passed on to me. xoxo Marlene
This video was one of the most helpful wig videos I’ve ever watched! Thank you so much. I only buy gray wigs and I’m new to Wig Studio 1. It helps so much to see different styles and variations in color. Brilliant idea dear!
Greys are all I wear these days, so I really enjoyed this video. If Chrome RT1B is now coming with the lightest hair interspersed along the front hairline it will be a huge improvement. One of my favorite greys is Jon Renau's Sleet, but they don't run the lightest hair to the front hairline, so I had to find this color in a wig with bangs. I found it in the pixie Annette. I'm not a fan of short hair, since they show off my buffalo hump, but it is a very cute wig. Annette was way too small for my extra-large head though, so I've been trying to sell that wig for dimes on the dollar for the past two years. Noriko's Sandy Silver is another beautiful sandy grey, but they don't run the lightest hair into the front hairline either, but I lucked out by buying Jolie which comes with bangs. It's terribly snug on me, but I can get away wearing it for a few hours at a time. I really REALLY wish that HairUWear would come out with a pretty rooted grey for their Raquel Welch and Gabor lines. They have a couple of styles I like that might even fit my giant head, but they don't have a single color that interests me, including SS Sugared Licorice. TressAllure's 3 Tone Grey is gorgeous! Thanks for showing us what's available and how good it can look when paired with the right clothing and accessories. You are a champion wig reviewer. 🥊
I love Jones and own her in ‘Icy Shadow’, also such a gorgeous color. After watching your review of Liana, earlier this year, I immediately ordered her in Moonstone. I absolutely love her so much that I ordered a second/backup, just in case she’s ever discontinued. I received ROP’s Niki two weeks ago in Moonstone and I’m in love! I added some Baby Bangs to her and I’m having so much fun wearing this one. The only downside is she’s a bit shiny, but nothing that can’t be fixed. I preordered Mane Attraction’s, ‘Seduction’ in Sunflower and just received notice that she’s shipped and on her way. I can hardly wait to see how she looks on me in this new color. Great review on so many beautiful grays. Thank you so much and have a wonderful Labor Day weekend, hon.
Hi Marlene! This was a great video and so very helpful. I wear grays too, I let my bio hair go gray (stopped coloring) at age 47 and it's now 12 years later. Thanks for your videos!
Hi Susan, thank you so much for stopping by. These are all pretty styles. Perhaps you can find a wig salon nearby where you can try them on. I'm only familiar with Mimi's Wig Boutique in Dallas, Tx. They're phenomenal! xoxo Marlene
Id like to see more UNrooted Grey's so I can show my clients those. All one ones with roots don't appeal to everyone. You do a great job with your reviews. Thank you
Hi, thank you so much for stopping by. There are many reviews on TH-cam showing non-rooted grays and I have shown a few; however, I don't have many. When a wig is sent to me for review, I'm sent the color the retailer wants to send. If I purchase the wigs, I try and purchase a color I would wear. I apologize for not having more unrooted colors. I will ask and see if in the future retailers send me non-rooted greys. xoxo Marlene
Thanks for including the 10/613GR and the Sunflower. My bio gray is silver with light brown in it, so I really like these colors as they also read gray to me (I also like Belle Tress Roca Margarita and Cookies and Cream (what's in my avatar)). I really like dimensional grays.
Great variety of styles & gray shades!! You wear them all beautifully!! I prefer to have some blonde tones in the mix. Another pretty color (that I have) is JR Palm Springs Blonde. I have the SilversunRT8 as well. Excellent video as always♥✨👀
Hi, Marlene! First time I've caught your channel, and I LOVE this set of wigs. Especially appreciate your explanations of the color mixes and shading details. My natural hair is gray (or will be again!), so I really enjoyed this selection. Looking forward to seeing more of your showcases. XOXO
I love the Henry Margu Fiona in the 10/613-going-grey color. Hopefully they make it without the grow-out roots, which I personally find bizarre. Thanks for this collection of wigs that are stylish, yet available in gray tones.
Hi Marsha, if you love 10/613GR but don't care for the roots. take a look at 10/613 (no GR at the end); it's the same color without the root. The GR indicates the color is gradient starting with the dark root. I just looked up Fiona and it's available in 10/613. xoxo Marlene
I love this grey showcase, important to so many of us. But did it help me decide? No! LOL and that's ok. Favorite? That's a toughie, but I'm going to have to say it's a toss up between the Ellen Wille Flirt in Salt/Pepper Rooted and any of my Belle Tress in Chrome... of course Estetica ChromeRT1b LOL Decide LOL You're a funny one Marlene
Hi Barbara, thank you so much for stopping by! I've been thinking about Zane in SilverStone. It's sitting in my cart :-) Thank you! I believe I purchased this top at Macy's. This video is from 9/2023 and my old brain can't remember xoxo Marlene
Hi Kathy, thankfully, there are lots of grays to choose from and something for everyone! No wig wearer should ever purchase a style or color they don't like or would ever wear. I wear rooted grays because those are the ones I love and really makes no difference to me if this is how our hair ages or not; I realize they are not for everyone, but thankfully, all manufacturers also offer non-rooted grays :-) xoxo Marlene
Hi Cindy, thank you for stopping by. The brands I showed that have the most stretch and will fit on the larger end of average are Estetica, Mane Attraction, Henry Margu, and Tress Allure. If you need to go back and see the styles I showed in these brands, I added timestamps in the description box (below the video). xox Marlene
Hi MaryJane, yes, it's still available. Most retailers add the color by the color code rather than the name. 3Tone Grey is 52/38/49/R8. Here's the link to it at Frannie's Hair, but it'll be available wherever you prefer to shop: frannieshair.com/products/undercut-bob-tressallure?variant=47873340834078
Thanks for stopping by. We all have our personal preference on the colors and styles we wear. Since I like matching my root to my brows and really don't care if it appears natural or not, I always wear rooted colors; however, I also don't hide that I wear wigs. For me, they're no different than anything else I wear. Good thing is there are many colors to choose from, rooted and unrooted. If you don't care for rooted colors and your opinion is they don't look natural, there are lots of other options out there for you.! xo Marlene

I agree that the last one is absolutely gorgeous! Definitely my favorite. Looks stunning on you.
Marlene: My bio hair is now all gray so I like my wigs to be gray also. This was extremely helpful. Thank you so much. 🦊

Wonderful review of grey wigs, Marlene! I love them all. My personal favorites are RW Sugared Licorice and EW Stone Grey Rooted.

Lovely! I am 77 and now grey but very thin hair. Wish I could try all of these on.
Hi Susan, thank you so much for stopping by. These are all pretty styles. Perhaps you can find a wig salon nearby where you can try them on. I'm only familiar with Mimi's Wig Boutique in Dallas, Tx. They're phenomenal! xoxo Marlene
Thanks Marlene. I’ve been moving more towards greys. Because my bio hair was light brown /blonde, I look for greys with lighter undertones.
What a great review! So many choices and I enjoyed seeing them on different styles. Thank you so much for your work on this one!
Hi Joyce! Thank you so much! I'm happy to know you enjoyed my video! xoxo Marlene

Love this grays comparison Marlene! I've been wearing my undercut Bob alot lately. I love it too!❤
Fantastic video Marlene so helpful and informative 💖

Hi! A big warm welcome to my channel. Thank you so much for stopping by and your comment! xoxo Marlene
Awesome video Marlene! I have 4 of the styles in the exact colors you have. But looks like I might have to add Athena to the mix!
I really like your videos, Marlene~ many of the wigs look so good on you!~😉👌🌺
Thank you so much, Susan! xoxo Marlene
Thank you Marlene - very helpful video as always

I bought Zane by Noriko in SilverStone. Love your blouse.

Great Video, I saved it!
I love looking at gray wigs but I will not wear any that have dark roots. That is not how our hair ages.

These are all so gorgeous and you look fantastic 😍 Are any of these a little larger than average cap size?
Hi Cindy, thank you for stopping by. The brands I showed that have the most stretch and will fit on the larger end of average are Estetica, Mane Attraction, Henry Margu, and Tress Allure. Marlene is the Tress Allure Undercut still available in the three tone gray? I can’t seem to find it!!
I went looking for that last one and can’t find the color
Hi, the color is 52/38/49/R8 | 3 Tones of Grey xoxo Marlene
I would buy @7-8 of these if they didn't have the dark root. Your hair Naturally grows out Silver from the root. Looks unnatural.
