Paul said believers in Christ are simply followers of Abraham's faith:
What then shall we say was gained by Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh? 2 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. 3 For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness.”

Abraham was righteous because he believed Yahweh God and left Babylon for the promised land. This was before Moses gave the Law. It is through Abraham and his descendant Jesus the Messiah that righteousness is imparted:
O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? It was before your eyes that Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified. 2 Let me ask you only this: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing with faith? 3 Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh? 4 Did you suffer so many things in vain-if indeed it was in vain? 5 Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith- 6 just as Abraham “believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”?

      @Iyas kelu
Unfortunately, your interpretation of Jeremiah is way off.
The individual whom is speaking is God, and God alone, not messiah, or a messenger of God.
Unfortunately, as a Christian, your Christian Bible version was deliberately mistranslated, and used replacement theology, and took the original word “Adonai” and replaced it with the English word “Lord” during the 1500’s when Christian Bible versions were published in ink and mass produced, which caused confusion and contradiction, and allowed the reader to take the word of God out of context, and inherited lies, worthlessness and futile things, and began to believe that Adonai-“the Lord” was God in the flesh, instead of God without form. Which took away the meaning of the Hebrew word “Adonai” and relabeled it as “the Lord” confusing the nations.
Jeremiah 31 is God speaking here through Jeremiah, not Jesus.
      Proof?
      Jeremiah 31:1-2
“At the same time,” says Adonai, “I will be the God (meaning-One) of all the families of Israel, and they shall be My people.”
      Thus says Adonai:
“The people who survived the sword found grace in the wilderness-Israel, when I went to give him (Israel) rest.”
Adonai has appeared of old to me, saying:
“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving-kindness I have drawn you.”
At what point was Jesus present when the God of old appeared to Jeremiah?
Jesus hadn’t even been born yet.
Nor was Jesus around from the beginning, as many Christians claim.
      Isaiah 44:24
“Thus says Adonai, your redeemer, who formed you from the womb:
“I am Adonai, who made all things, who stretched out the heavens ALL ALONE, who spreads abroad the earth BY MYSELF……”
Tell me Christian? What part about “All Alone” and “By Myself” don’t you understand?
Furthermore, no Orthodox Jew believes in the Christian doctrine, nor the trinity belief system agenda. And most importantly, they would rather die than accept Jesus as either a dying God, or a dying Messiah, or even an only begotten dying son God. Because at no point whatsoever does the Hebrew Bible suggest such things, nor did it ever enter the mind of God.
Instead, what you have done here is, used replacement theology learned by the Church.
Jeremiah 31’s narrative is about the faithful remnant of Israel being saved, by being faithful to God alone, rejecting the notion of gods of the people who surround them, just like they have with Christendom for the past two millennia.

      @donaldcharlton3480 2 ปีที่แล้ว

Rabbi, you are a teacher of Israel yet you are using seemingly elementary arguments in your explanations. Son of man refers, Daniel 7:13, to the Messiah as you know. Jesus referred to Himself as the Son of Man 83 times in the Gospels. He used this name more than any other. It refers to His humanity and humility, yet it also speaks to His everlasting Glory as Daniel 7:13,14 shows. Son of Man refers to him being born of the seed of Adam, the human race . You are very good at twisting words . True the word virgin can mean young woman but it is clear in Luke 1:34 that Mary was never with a man this a virgin.
All through the Gospels Jesus let it be known that all He did was fulfill the law and the prophets. For example, his triumphant entry into Jerusalem, Matthew 21:1-10 fulfilled Zechariah 9:9. This event also fulfilled Daniel 9:24-26. The date was Monday, 10 Nisan, A. D. 30, exactly 483 years after the decree of Artaxerxes.
Jesus didn't have Joseph's seed because God, who cannot lie, had cursed any of Jechoniah's descendants from sitting on the throne of David forever (Jeremiah 22:30). Therefore Joseph, Mary's betrothed, could not be in the Messiah's bloodline. So in order for Jesus to be in David's bloodline it had to be through his mother, by the Holy Spirit , who caused her to bear a son. She was descended from Nathan, Solomon's brother, this bypassing the curse .
Zephaniah 3:9 is referring to the millennial kingdom and reign of Christ described in Revelation 20. Christ will rule absolutely for 1000 years after He returns and cast Satan into the abyss during that time. Before this time there will be a covenant signed with Israel , a seemingly peaceful time which is a 7 year period, in which the temple will be rebuilt and the sacrificial system will be restored. This ruler, the Anti-christ, will set up his one world government and all nations will follow him. In the middle of this covenant, 3 1/2 years, he will break the covenant, stop the sacrifices , set up the abomination that causes desolation and declare himself to be God. See that you are not deceived for the deception will be so great that if possible even the elect would be deceived. After this time Israel will enter the time of Jacob's trouble. ( Last 3 1/2 years) Jesus will return and set up His kingdom and cast Satan into the abyss at this time.
Isaiah 2:4 also refers to this millennial reign.
Of course all of this is foolishness to you, 1 Corinthians 2:6-16. The natural person doesn't accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him , and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. We , believers are able to understand because we have the mind of Christ. We may not be perfect but we are sanctified and being taught by His Spirit. I pray the Lord give you eyes to see and ears to hear Him. 1 John 2:22 says " Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also."
Ask yourself did Jesus live, did He die under Pontius Pilate, did he raise from the dead? Ask did he cause the lame to walk

Jesus need not come,if he had not come, everyone would have believed in God but which God, who is the person behind the veil of God, will he descend in end times, of it is so, he cannot be known by anyone, so this means Jesus came as a mediator (God) between the heavens and earth, because he is the creator of heaven and earth, so this means, Jesus make him known to entire creation, so there is no excuse, I do not know.

The rabbis that you rudely and arrogantly disparage, ARE the replacements for the Judge and the Kohanim in the absence of the Temple. Rabbi Singer, btw, IS descended from the Kohanim, and is himself, therefore, a Kohen - as are MANY other Jewish men alive today.
There is a HEAVY penalty for the rabbis, when they stand before our Creator, if they teach us falsehoods - therefore they are BEYOND careful, to teach us ONLY what God's ETERNAL Hebrew scriptures say. That's why there is a teaching that we are to "make for yourselves a rabbi (teacher)" and to follow what THEY teach us. Because if they teach us the wrong thing, it is THEY who will answer to God for what they have taught us, and WE will not be punished for learning the wrong thing.
Therefore, God specifically tasked the rabbis with interpreting the Hebrew scriptures for us - they have been studying them all the way back to Mt. Sinai - something the false, pagan Christian 'teachers' REFUSED to do, leaving them in total DARKNESS about what God actually said to us at Mt. Sinai - resulting in the twisted, mistranslated, taken out of context, bastardized "Old Testament" and the false pagan, "New Testament" that God never gave to us.
THAT'S why we all need to learn from these extremely learned men - ALL of us - otherwise we have no clue what the Hebrew scriptures, God's ETERNAL words to us, actually mean. In the absence of the Temple, Deut. 17:8-11 STANDS as our instruction as to who to learn God's ETERNAL words from. PLEASE put your arrogance aside, leave the pagan "New Testament" behind (it did NOT come from God!) and learn from these Godly men! I started out in a very confusing denomination of Christianity. It took me a while to see that that wasn't the way of God. I was in another denomination of Christianity for a few years and yet another for a long time. All the while, I was looking for the truth, listening attentively and taking notes from the sermons. I tried to compare my notes with others, but for most, it was a done deal. They weren't really searching. I committed to reading the Holy Bible all the way through. I did that a couple of times while taking sermon notes and studying the scripture references in the pages of the Bible itself. It actually brought me way more questions than answers. I continued to search and read and study and (of course) pray. I visited a chapel on the west side of the city. It began to look brighter for my search. I became interested in Israel. I continued to search for truth. My search led me on what was to be a detour into "Messianic Judaism". It was from there after several years, I began to question their doctrine. It did not seem to ring true at all according to the words that were there in the Holy Bible and comparing what was written as "Messianic Interpretation". I started researching Jewish history. I prayed every day, constantly, because that is what is written. Ha Shem started to really speak to me. It is because that I have been fortunate to get critical thinking skills that I could have clarification. I could show you many texts from the Holy Scriptures that are significant and meaningful to me. My search lasted decades.

The word moshiach/messiah means "anointed one", and generally refers to a king, priest or prophet. The verses in Daniel 9 (25-26) actually speak of two separated "anointed ones", not the messiah. While the real messiah will actually rule as king of Israel, and therefore be anointed, he is never actually called "the messiah" in the Hebrew bible. The more accurate Christian translations, like the NRSV, translate the verses correctly.
BTW, Rabbi Singer has several YT videos about Daniel 9. Just do a search.

You need to realize, research, and accept, that NO FURTHER SCRIPTURES were given to mankind by God AFTER Mt. Sinai, therefore Christianity absolutely did NOT come from God, and NOWHERE did He mention the "Jesus" character to us, NOR did He tell us that we need to be "saved", NOR that He requires HUMAN BLOOD (a purely pagan ritual that God ABHORS!!) as atonement for our sins.
PLEASE do some honest research on this subject, and learn from the Orthodox Rabbis, as commanded by God in Deut. 8-11. • @dumbledor22
      @dumbledor22 2 ปีที่แล้ว

One caveat which he didn't mention, in truth, must be added here.
According to the commentary of rashi, this whole chapter is talking about the Jewish nation as a whole in exile, and how they will finally be redeemed. I can't go into how he translates every verse, but the one this video is dealing with, he translates as "a nation that was low and humiliated amongst the nations, now is the head, most prestigious nation".
Of course this actually *could* be legitimately translated as the messiah himself as well (my opinion anyway). Because Judaism actually *does* believe that the messiah (just like David his ancestor) will originally be looked down upon even by fellow Jews, and only when it's time for the redemption to come and for him to be revealed, that everyone will realise that it's precisely him that was anointed as king, and everyone will be greatly surprised that it was precisely him.
But even with such a translation this could still not refer to jesus, as he was killed before he could accomplish even *one* of the prophecies that scripture mentions he has to fulfil, (as the rabbi explains). Besides, jesus according to "their" accounts, *did* have quiet a big following in his life. Sure the romans rejected him (originally, in his lifetime), And most jews. But he still had far too much of a following that this verse should be able to refer to him.
Keep in mind, that the same thing applies to the famous chapter in isaiah, 53, another place Christians try to prove jesus from with the same exact argument. There too it is talking about the nation of Israel as a whole. But even if you want to translate it on the messiah himself (as some legitimate commentaries indeed do) it still can't be jesus, because of the above mentioned reasons.

Who laid the groundwork for ‘Christians’ and ‘Jews’ to be debating the interpretations of the Tanahk and the Torah? Isn’t it a miracle that although Jews have done nothing to encourage more than a billion people to even read the Tanahk, so many have taken the Tanahk to heart and will need that completion that they are not getting from ‘Christianity ‘. Who other than a Messiah and his fellow Jews two thousand years ago could have set the events , both horrific and good in motion when there were no printing presses nor magazines or journals back then to the point that everyone calling himself a Christian is aware of the fundamentals of Judaism. Always great to hear exposition of Jewish thought relative to Christianity. However, like most things, the understanding and interpretation given by one who is Jewish about what Christians think and teach is exceptionally daunting, as may well be the reverse. In such situations clarity of understanding is lost and often and inadvertent straw man argument is made, not through ill will, but due to difficult situations. Here, one of the many difficult situations has to do with actual versus alleged Christian theology which is a very muddy topic where the waters are made more difficult by Christians themselves.
One rather critical mistake I see here as a Christian is the understanding of "when" the world-wide acceptance of the messiah will occur and how it occurs. The interpretation of the Rabbi tacitly exhibits a new world, a world where free will, and free choice universally are rather perfectly reflected, a world where everyone chooses the right thing which comports fully with the will of G__. In that world there is no war and only peace everyone accepts the messiah, who must Himself be the rather perfect ruler. That world is what Christians refer to as the 'end of time" when God makes a new heaven and a new earth. This is the case because people are currently not perfect nor perfected nor renewed by the grace of G__.
Only in a renewed world will all come to fully understand the things of G__. Only in a world where every person has reached a state of holiness and perfection will ALL freely choose peace. Such a world is rather heavenly - don't you think? Heavenly in the sense that everyone chooses the holy and follows the will of G__.
So, indeed every nation will be at peace and it shall endure and it does require a perfected people and a perfect leader. The perfect leader is of course G__ Himself. You see the messiah is almost required to be G___, in order to rule such a world. Or as Christians see it, G__ as revealed in and by Jesus. The messiah is the ultimate and best one possible G__ Himself.

It is clear that the Holy One, blessed be He, is not confined to a body or physical form. Although He may present Himself to a person as a specific form in a prophetic vision, intellectually, that is so the person can receive God's message within his mind and senses. This is the revelation of the Creator through the medium of a certain intellectual context, in accordance with the prophet's level, in order that he will be able to perceive God in some limited way (Seven Gates of Righteous Knowledge by Rabbi Moshe Weiner and Dr. Michael Schulman, page 16).

England did not want to even publish the Bible. When they did they renamed the brother of Jesus James to put the king in the Bible. I find the KJV one of the worst English translations. Words seem to be purposefully picked which are somewhat meaningless. Making it easy to make the Bible say what you want it to say opposed to what it really means. This served well the desire of the King to require a Priest to tell the people what the Bible really means. Making it very difficult to read.
I also do not trust history on Bible translations or language at all.

Rabbi quotes passages of the second coming of the Messiah, Yeshua. It even speaks about the prophecy of Daniel in Revelation and that it has not been fulfilled yet. Why were animals sacrificed in the Old Testament? To atone for sins I believe. Why not now? Because Yeshua has fulfilled the prophecy of him going to all nations and all nations (believers in those nations) know animal sacrifice is useless and does not atone for sins. Find in the Old Testament of the suffering Messiah - the cursed be hung on a tree, He suffers for believers, John the baptist is Elijah and baptizes Jesus, the wages of sin is death including spiritual death but Jesus lived a sinless life and so He is the perfect sacrifice because He fulfilled the law. From Abraham, Abraham is told to sacrifice his son (this is what God did we now know), Isaac blesses Jacob and curses Esau (Jesus is blessed and Satan is cursed), Jacob is told to change Joseph's name to Israel and when he dies, his bones end up in Egypt, Moses freed the Hebrew slaves from Egypt via God and God sends the angel to kill all the male firstborn that do not have the blood (symbolic of the blood of Christ), when Herod learns of a King of Israel being born, he kills all firstborn males under the age of two (Jesus's blood again saved from death) and the prophecy is fulfilled (in Jesus' first coming) "Rebecca is weeping because her children are no more." Jesus predicts His crucifixion and says this is God's plan for man to have sins forgiven (by one man sin came into the world (sounds like original sin to me) and by one man's flesh sin was destroyed, God is not a man and Jesus was not born of man but by a miracle and is known as the Son of Man and the Son of God, Jesus said the temple would be destroyed and it was with opposition Hebrew forces (remember God did not want to have a church but David persuaded God) that Romans, whose king was not a fan of Jesus, that this prophecy was filled, but before this, when Jesus died, an earthquake tore the curtain of where God was symbolic of now you have and you can see God for Jesus said if you seen the Son you have seen the Father and elsewhere, if you loved God, you would love ME, I and the father are One. The world's gross national product was basically flat throughout history, yet Jesus said, "In end times, there will be great increase in wealth and knowledge" and He said to the Jews, "Times will be so horrific for the Jews and to prey that you do not live in this time (Hitler)," and the Fig tree (Israel) will again bear its fruits and as mentioned in the Old Testament the Jews will converge once again" from throughout the world. You reject Jesus and so you reject God for He and God are One. It is impossible for you to know the absolute purity Christians know for all their sins are forgiven and their "House is clean/in order." Christians who discuss these things with you are not to just argue or win a debate. Christians hope that you come to an understanding of God through Christ so you can live a fulfilled life for Jesus said, "Don't think that I have come to destroy life, but to give it so that you may live it more abundantly." You can have the peace that passes understanding, you can have the absolute purity of God in your flesh (you are a vessel), God will begin to discipline you as a son of God as mentioned in the Book of Hebrews, and you will know with absolute certainty by these events that everything Jesus and the New Testament says is true. You are as the Pharisees were in Jesus time and you know that Paul was anti-Christian, a Hebrew and Roman citizen, he jailed and approved of Christians' murders, a Pharisee too until Jesus Himself appeared to Paul (ooppssss, all the zeal Paul had and Paul was not even going to heaven but hell). But you reject the cornerstone and as God worked through the Hebrews in the Old Testament and Jesus said, "Many will come from the east and west (all over the world) and sit at the heavenly wedding table and feast" while those who should be there and who God chose (the Hebrews) will not be. Jesus was put in a Roman guarded tomb and an large rock put there so nobody could remove the rock nor Jesus without the guards stopping them, and yet He was not in His tomb. They knew He said He would rise from the dead and were worried that if His tomb and body were removed, this "deceit" would be greater than the "deceit" Jesus told the Jews. But it was not deceit, the tomb was guarded for this exact reason He said He would rise in be in the earth as Jonah was in the belly of a whale for three days. The Jews were expecting the Messiah 2 thousand years ago, yet do you believe God failed to deliver as promised. No, He delivered. Jesus is the only Messiah from that time period, He is preached through all nations, and eventually, His second coming will be when the sword is plowed in the earth and they learn war no more.

Jesus of Nazareth was not just another face on an already populated religious scene.
Jesus made a claim, which was never made of any of the founders of the world’s major
religions. He claimed to be God-a claim which Buddha, Confucius, nor Mohammad
ever made. Such a claim cannot be ignored, it must be believed or refuted. To ignore
the question of Jesus’ deity is to reject Jesus Himself. If Jesus is truly divine, then His
coming to earth is the most important event in history. If Jesus is God, then his message
of redemption is the most important message we will ever hear. Jesus not only claimed
to be God, but also He claimed that His way of salvation is the only way sinful men can
be restored to a right relationship with the Holy God. There is compelling evidence that
demonstrates that Jesus is God and His message is true.
    1. History of Christ
The message of Christianity centers on the truth that God became a man. Many
skeptics today have asserted that Christianity is a myth invented by a group of
religious extremists. Some have sought to dismiss Christianity into the realm of
fiction maintaining that Christianity holds to no historical basis. Some skeptics have
even questioned whether Jesus actually ever existed. Knowledgeable historians
never make such claims. Those who have actually studied the historical authenticity
of Jesus admit to being overwhelmed by the abundance of evidence that exists.
Those who attempt to dismiss Christ as a myth do not do so on the basis of
historical evidence. In fact, the evidence is so great that even if we did not have a
Bible, we would still know the story of Christianity and of its Christ. The following
non-Christian sources give credence to the life of Christ:
    (3) Secular References:
    • A.D. 52 - Thallus
    - Samaritan historian; witnessed and wrote about the darkness the
consumed the earth at the time of Christ’s Crucifixion; he did not deny His
    existence
    • A.D. 93 - Josephus
    - Jewish general turned Roman historian, wrote about Christ in The
    History of the Jews,
"At that time lived Jesus, a wise man, if he may be called a man; for he performed many
wonderful works. He was a teacher of such men as received the truth with pleasure. He
drew over to him many Jews and Gentiles. This was the Christ. And when Pilate, at the
instigation of the chief men among us, had condemned him to the cross, they who before
had conceived an affection for him did not cease to adhere to him. For on the third day he
appeared to them alive again, the divine prophets having foretold these and many other
wonderful things concerning him. And the sect of Christians, so called from him, subsists
    to this time."
    • A.D. 112 - Pliny the Younger
    - Governor in Asia Minor; wrote to the Emperor Trajan about the Christians
    he had been persecuting at the time;
“…made them curse Christ, which a genuine Christian cannot do.”
    2. World Impact
    • Jesus split time - B.C. and A.D.
History itself is divided by two epochs-before Christ (B.C.) and after
Christ (A.D.). Everything is dated with reference to the birth of Jesus
Christ-even the homework you have to do tonight has to have a date on
    it!
    • Jesus and the Bible
Jesus never wrote a book, and yet he remains the subject of more books
than anyone in history. His biography, the New Testament, is the greatest
selling book of all-time. It gives very few details of his life but focuses on
his brief three-year itinerant ministry. From this short period sprang the
largest religious following in history. Few persons have ever evoked such
devotion as Jesus of Nazareth. His recorded deeds and teaching have
been judged as true by countless millions. Jesus was no mere mortal with
an extremely high IQ, but his impact is best understood in light of His
    claim that He was God.
    3. Messianic Prophecies
“Prophecy” defined is ‘knowledge of the future obtained from a divine source.’
The Old Testament is filled with promises of the coming of the Messiah. The
“Messiah” refers to the promised deliverer who would come to establish the kingdom
of God. “Christ” is the Greek equivalent of the term “Messiah.” Jesus is one of over
forty Jewish men who have claimed to be the Christ, so how do we know that Jesus
of Nazareth is really the promised Messiah?
    • 456 of 456 were fulfilled by Jesus
    • The chance of anyone fulfilling just 48 of these prophecies is a probability
of 10 to the 157th power. According to Borel’s single law of chance, anything
beyond 10 to the 50th power is impossible!
    • 1947 - Dead Sea Scrolls
In 1947, a young shepherd boy in Israel was throwing rocks in a cave and
suddenly he heard glass break. So he went in to discover what he broke
and it ended up being the first of over 100,000 fragments of the Dead Sea
Scrolls. All together, they excavated 11 caves full of scrolls! They found
every book of the Old Testament (including all of Isaiah) except for Esther.
The Bible they found matches up perfectly with the Bible you brought here
    today!
If you were going to try and fulfill these prophecies, these are a few things that
    have to be done:
1.) You have to be called Mighty God (see Isaiah 9:6, Titus 2:13)
2.) You must be born of a Virgin
3.) You must be able to perform Miracles
    4. Miracles of Jesus
It is one thing to claim to be God, but it is another matter to prove it. A claim of deity
must be accompanied by extraordinary evidence. One of the ways that Jesus
demonstrated He was divine was by performing miracles. Even Jesus’ enemies
admitted that He could do miracles. His miracles can be categorized into (2) types:
    “Nature” and “Healing”.
    Nature miracles:
    - Stilled the Storm
    - Walked on water
    - Feeding the 5,000 (not including women and children)
    - Turned water into wine
    Healing miracles:
    - Lepers
    - Paralytics
    - Deaf
    - Blind
The Talmud acknowledges Jesus’ ability to do miracles
The Talmud is a record of rabbinic discussions on Jewish law, ethics,
customs, legends and stories, which Jewish tradition considers authoritative.
Basically, it’s Judaism’s holiest book next to the Torah. The Talmud has an
ancient record of the Babylonian Sanhedrin acknowledging Jesus’ ability to do
miracles and likened his ability to sorcery. The document goes on to say that
Jesus did miracles by the power of Satan; and it refers to him as a curse word
(a word that describes an illegitimate child).
Miracles occur in the Bible as a means of authenticating divine revelation.
When Jesus began His ministry, He unleashed a series of miracles that
arrested the world’s attention. Jesus healed the sick, gave sight to the blind,
fed thousands of people from a handful of food, demonstrated power over
nature, and even raised the dead. These miracles were performed in the
open and served to validate His claims.
Acts 2:22 - Peter talks about Jesus’ “public miracles”
Jesus told His listeners that if they did not believe His words, they should believe
    His works. John 10:37-38
    5. Virgin Birth - Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23
700 years before Jesus was born, Isaiah prophesied, (read verse). “Immanuel”
means “God with us.” Isaiah predicted that one of the major “signs” of the anticipated
Savior would be His coming by means of a virgin birth.
Many deny it because it is a biological impossibility
The virgin birth assures Jesus’ sinless nature - He didn’t inherit His
    father’s sinful nature…
Jesus made the claim to be your “Sinless Savior”
Listen, we all came to this earth to make a decision, because we are born into sin
and “condemned already” (John 3:18). We need someone to save us not only
from our sins, but from Hell itself! When choosing a religious lifeguard, it’s smart
to choose Jesus, because Jesus is alive! Dead lifeguards cannot save. Listen, if
Mohammad was God, why is he recorded toward the end of his life saying, “I am
    in need of forgiveness”???
    6. Attributes of God - 2 Corinthians 5:21
    Omnipotent - “All Powerful” - Matthew 28:18
(over creation, men, angels, Satan, death)
    Omnipresent - “Everywhere” - Matthew 18:20; 28:20
Omniscient - “All Knowing” - Matthew 9:4 (sees all, knows all)
    Preexistent
    Creator of the Universe
    Sinless
Raise the Dead (Lazarus, the Ruler’s Daughter, Widow’s son at Nain, and all
    of us when He returns!)
    Power over Disease
    Holy - set apart, sanctified
    Immutable (Same)
    Accepts Worship
    7. Forgives Sin - Mark 2:5 - He heals the paralytic
    8. Power over Nature - Mark 4:41-Wind and wave obey Jesus
    9. Heals - John 9:25-32 - When the healed blind man testifies about Christ
    10. Jesus is Eternal - John 1:1-2 - He is the eternal Word!

Here's just one of Tovias problems. The scriptures that he speaks about everyone excepting the Messiah is true , but it's speaking of Jesus Christ in the millinium kingdom. The old testament prophecies about the Messiah speak about his first and second coming. That's why most of the Jews did not except him as the Messiah, because Jesus did not come like they expected him to. To rule with an iron rod. Little did they know if they would have believed he would of set up kingdom right then. But I thank God for his wisdom that they did not accept him so that I could have relationship with God through his only begotten son Jesus christ. So I could have eternal life, just by putting my trust in what Jesus did for me. He lived a sin less life and he was put to death on the cross and he rose from the dead on the third day. And he coming back real soon. Today is the day for salvation . Amen

It's because Christians have been indoctrinated to believe that they have the ultimate Truth, and that NOTHING else that is presented to them can possibly be God's Truth, especially from Jews, who they have been convinced God has abandoned because of their anti-Jewish NT. When I was a Christian I believed that exact same thing and although I had nothing against Jews, I believed that the entire world, besides Evangelical Christianity were lost for all Eternity, unless they accepted the Christian false 'messiah' into their hearts! And just as you mentioned, when I left Christianity, I felt like I was doing something wrong, because how could these sincere, believing Pastors teach something that did not come from God? It took me awhile to understand why their sincerity is actually irrelevant. I thank HaShem that He showed me His Truth, when it was the right time for me to learn it, and that I now know how false and pagan the Christian Bible really is. I became an Orthodox Jew 19 years ago, and Christianity seems extremely foreign to me now, and I marvel at how many of the falsehoods that they preach, that I just couldn't see for myself. But now that I have learned God's Truth from the rabbis, it all makes sense, as to how the sincerity of these Pastors could be so wrong.
