dunno man, as easy as it was to play synchros pure, as one of my best decks is pure synchro, fusions can be done as well. Let's say, Dragonmaids, combined with some bystials, a small albaz package, and a superpoly for flavor. Hitting Tenpai by fusing away 4 dragons from their side with 1 dragonmaid from mine to make 5 headed was hilarious. Oh, also Fusion Destiny for a DPE package is really good. That said, synchro only and XYZ only would be the 2 I could get behind the easiest. As I have pure decks for both of those. Heck, multiple different pure decks for both of those. For links, I have a really old Sky Striker deck, and a crapton of salamangreat cards out of which I could probably put together a really strong deck, if I knew how to use them properly. As for strongest decks in each category in my opinion: Fusoin: Albaz is still goingstrong, even if it's heavily hit. Chimera is basically unhit. Dragonmaids can accomodate many extra engines (bystial, albaz, superpoly, DPE), and have a nice negate of a boss monster, with great recursion once they get going. Cyberdark. Cyberdark's have a 5k towers. Bring that out, and you're good to go against many/most opponents. Gaia is unhit, but is really a one trick pony. it either works out, or you're screwed. Dinomorphia could work. Predaplants are also pretty decent this time around I guess. Thunder Dragon has 2 bosses, and both are fusions. They're almost at full power. They miss some generic thunder/dragon support which comes from somelink monsters being present, but that's about it. Lunalight is unhit I believe, at least I didn't hear about it being hit. Gravekeepers + Necrovlley is also not bad, their big boss is fusion. Eldlich could work, and it's technically fusion due to their 1 fusion monster. Which they hardly even use. Yeah, this might be better off in links, with generic extra deck. Synchro: Synchrons: (+Stardust) are insane with Maxx C banned. They'd normally summon about 30 times if they're going full combo. Even if Maxx C can be used as thelevel 2 non-tuner for the Junk Synchron, to bring out Junk Speeder, which is their big combo starter, it their opponent had Maxx C, they'd be going against the synchrons with just about a full deck in hand. Not a situation I'd like to find myself in. Red Dragon Archfiend: (+ some earthbound immortal supports, namely, the fiend searcher), and shining dragon for the easy level 12 extra during the opponent's turn. Blackwings: Either tax your opponents to death with 3 Black Winged Assault Dragons, or make them ragequit with unkillable Full Armor Master. Heck, you can even use multipe full armor masters to just steal their best monsters. There are so many options. Tenpai: f*ck that deck. But it is rather strong, as it can dish out about 30k damage in round 2 with a decent hand. If not more. Centur-Ion: Also really strong, but in asimilar boat to Tenpai, I don't really like it. Speedroid: While Rubberband Shooter (link 2) is missing, the rest of the archetype is pure synchro, and is unhit as far as I saw. Alternatively, archetypes that don't rely on their extra deck (Labrynth, True Draco, Mikanko, Floo (though those are usually combined with Mist Valley Apex Avian for extra negate, which comes with Simorghs, which are links) I guess? ) could work in any category, and you could fill up the extra deck with generic stuff, or with Superpoly targets for a single superpoly, or really, anything for the pot that lets you draw by retting rid of extra deck cards. If yu find a ritual archetype that's not banned, those are an option too. I don't play ritual decks, so I couldn't for the life of me say any good ones, but I think the Hungry Burger stuff was fairly strong, so was Nekroz, I'm just not sure wether they're hit or not. Sadly every other archetype I play either uses more extra deck summoning method (as seen in Traptrix, and somewhat in Speedroid as well) or are XYZ which isn't allowed this time. @@muhammadsholihudin8979 it's not to start the crusadia engine. Crusadia link monsters gain attack equal to that of any monster in a zone its arrows point to. With kaiju, you can tribute an opponent's monster to special summon the kaiju in front of Equimax. Also helps you clear out any monster effects you don't want to deal with.
Dragon Links should work fine. The extra room in the ED lets you have three Striker Dragons which allows you to run the Dillengerous line without destroying your grind game. One card combos can net you a board of Borrelend and S:P. Ending on Borrelend, I:P and S:P shouldn't be too hard with extra extension.
