I thought to myself, wait a minute, and I looked up Iron Maiden bass covers to find you. Same mask. No idea the significance of the mask, but what a trip down memory lane. Hope all is well!

Love this. Of all the guys doing bass covers on TH-cam he seems to 'get' the songs. What I mean is that there are a lot of technically able players who seem more concerned with getting every note in there and miss the bigger picture; you can't pinpoint any faults, but they seem to be constantly playing catch-up. I would bet that he plays live with a drummer a lot.

I just added the same bass to my collection a oroginal black 1978 Fender P bass maple neck mirror pickguard and a badass bridge. i kept the original pickup's in. i like original pickups sound much better then the duncan basslines... This dude is clean! NICE PLAYING DUDE.

Actually, the mask isn't a disgrace...it's his style. But, i suppose that is beside the point. Hyottoko1, you are and amazing bassist. I applaud you sir. Your fluidity was similar to Steve's so it worked really well. Unlike some, (I don't mean to be harsh or anything) I enjoyed your mask. Keep the music coming man!
yes it is, iv'e been playing bass since 1982 and was in a Iron Maiden cover band, we used to win EVERY high school battle of the bands back then 'Harris, Gedd And Geezer Buttler were my favorite players, I played a sunburst 1961 Fender P Bass that my father handed down to me, BUT sadly i sold it in 1885 for ony $400iworth $8000 today.It a Motown Bass i wanted a 1980 Rickenbacker 4003, wich i still own. anyway,yea, Steve Harris is one of the best and this guy does a great job covering his music.
