The best jump jockeys I´ve seen in the modern era, in no particular order, are: AP for his ferocious drive and will to win; Ruby Walsh for his style and finesse; Richard Dunwoody for his all round ability; and John Francome for his style and horsemanship. I would also give honourable mentions to Timmy and Declan Murphy, David Goulding, and the underrated Richard Guest.
