I am looking for a way to link a Mattertag to a single 360 capture. I cannot find that the single captures have their own hyperlink. In my circumstance, simply repositioning the 360 on the floor plan is not the answer. Thank you!
Hey Tim - if you are capturing 360 Photos in the Capture App, you can place that photo inside of a Mattertag - video tutorial here: th-cam.com/video/prxusn2G4q0/w-d-xo.html Once there is a Mattertag with the 360 Photo you desire, you can then create a hyperlink to that particular Mattertag in the scan via the Deep Link tool. Deep Links are the best, they're our favorite Matterport tool for property insurance. Video tutorial here (press the U key on your keyboard): th-cam.com/video/ufzMLmupMSw/w-d-xo.html Those two techniques combined should allow you to place a 360 Photo (captured via the MP Capture App) inside of a Mattertag, and then generate a unique hyperlink to the Mattertag itself. Hope this helps!
@@ActionableInsights Thank you for the detailed reply and links. The first video link describes linking a “photo” taken from a scan image, although i am looking for the Mattertag to link to a 360 capture, if that is possible.
@@T1mWe5t We do not know of a way to put a full 360 Photo inside of a Mattertag. You can put a still capture photo in a Mattertag, or you can put another MP Scan inside of a Mattertag (a technique we call Inscantion, video here: th-cam.com/video/83OvLzxe8_4/w-d-xo.html) You can create a Deep Link while inside of a 360 Photo that has been placed on the map/dollhouse. Navigate through the 3D Dollhouse and click on the 360 Photo to enter it, press U on your keyboard, and it will generate a hyperlink that will travel immediately into that 360 Photo (pointed at whatever you were looking at when you hit the U key). The viewer can then look around the 360 Photo or click the person icon to go back into the dollhouse if they would like to resume navigating the entire space. 360 Captures do not have a hyperlink themselves - they would have to be placed on the map/dollhouse and then you can create Deep Links from them if you want to have a hyperlink that goes straight to 360 Photo itself. Does this help with what you are trying to accomplish?
Hey there - not sure if that's possible, Mattertags use URLs to generate content within the Mattertag. If they are photos that you are taking from within the scan, you can go to Media > Photos > right click on a photo (Open Image in New Tab) and copy the URL to place it in a Mattertag. If they are photos on your hard drive/USB, you will need to publish them to the internet somewhere and then use those URLs in the Media Links of Mattertags. If you'd like external pictures as an option in the future, you can recommend it here: www.getinsights.org/advance-the-cause/matterport-feature-request/

Thank you! Perhaps i can try having the 360 captures unlinked to the dollhouse, off to the side but available for Mattertags
Can I edit location of a tag?
Yes, you can enter the Edit Mode, select the Mattertags tab, and then you can click/hold/drag Mattertags that were already placed within the scan.
@@ActionableInsightsthank you!
Hi Matterport Team, Do we have an option to use another icon as a mattertag instead of a circle? please advise
Hey Patrick - there is no current option to use something other than a circle when placing Mattertags. What were you hoping to use?
@@ActionableInsights actually there is a solution to use custom icon instead of a circle, when using Mpembed Premium.
@@bdmediabonn-vr 3rd party for the win! Thank you for clarifying - there are no circle alternatives if you are using Matterport's technology as-is.
