    I used mine for the 1st time, it worked great and didn't even use up one complete battery, the only con is the plastic strip at the rear preventing you from pulling the mower toward you. I zip tied this in an up position and it made a huge difference. I have no complaints with this mower. I am very happy.

    West Central Florida here, I have had this mower going on 2 months now, Cutting St. Augustine grass, I actually look forward to mowing now with this excellent mower, I alternate bagging and mulching, very pleased with the mulching and was amazed at the volume of grass clippings this collects for a relatively small yard I have. I cut this past Wednesday and yesterday we had 2.54 inches of rain and today .95, looks like I'll be cutting Sunday if it doesn't rain

      Daniel, I'm right there with you. I have never wanted to mow the lawn so often. It is so easy and very convenient. Hard to imagine how quickly and efficiently you can buzz thru the lawn. Just bought the new Non-motorised Whisper model (with built in mulch door). It's magic. Great cut. Great mulch. Quiet. Only needed 1 battery to do my yard. Folds up super easy to store in the garage.

      @@htnowpro There are (3) versions of the top end "Whisper" model. 4-wheel drive, 2-wheel drive, and no-wheel drive. I have the no-wheel drive. (There are no motors powering any of the wheels. It's less expensive, and my lawn is totally flat so I didn't need the power, or the extra complexity).

I still have a Honda mower that I bought 35 years ago and paid $900.00 for! A shop here in Phoenix that sells and repairs lawn equipment including Honda has told me mine is the best mower Honda ever made including everything they make now. I just returned one of these for three reasons: 1. battery life was 20 minutes per battery for a total of 40 minutes. 2. The pressure required to hold the on switch and self-propelled function, made my hands numb. 3. The handle broke after using it for less than one week. In my opinion, while there were some desirable functions, it is not ready for prime time.

    I got mine and used yesterday I really like it, my lawn is around 2800 square feet and use around 1.5 batteries (the second battery is like half full when I finish) , so so far so good, My concern is two-fold, first I can not find spare blades anywhere I have call HD / Ryobi, etc and are not available, the second problem is the service if for some reason the unit needs to be fixed, Homedepot will send to the factory to get a fix, and according to the general consent it takes a minimum of 8 weeks, look like this is true with all Electric mowers (Including EGO), how is yours holding??? Thanks for your review. that where GAS (Toro for example) really shine.

    • @htnowpro
      @htnowpro  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mine is working great. Now the lawn is kept at the right height it only takes me one battery to mow. I have the same concern about the blade and service. When it comes to the blade I have only replaced one due to me running over palm fronds and the like. I will have to be less lazy with this mower, lol. When it comes to service, it's similar to a Tesla, service is not convenient. Hopefully we will not need service. Thank you for watching and commenting. Enjoy your easy mowing.

      That was a issue that stopped me from buying one, relatively new product parts and service could be a problem, when my gas mower doesn't work I can take it to any local mower shop or fix it myself with over the counter parts, I see a lot of those electric mowers of all brands, and the lower end gas mowers like Craftsman and Troy bilt etc at closeout stores where people buy pallets of returned items from Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart and Amazon then resell them , but I have neve seen any Honda mowers at any of those places selling them at bargain prices, which makes me think a lot of people do not like the electric mowers or they have shortcomings a gas mower does not, But they certainly like the Honda mower

It becomes annoying, especially when engaging the self propelled drive. When you take your fingers off that, that’s when it shuts off the most. Just very poor design.
      Second thing, I don’t even have a half acre and I completed maybe 60% of my property before both batteries were spent. The next day with two fully charged batteries, I completed the rest of my property but exhausted one battery and half the other.
