    this was the best demo I've ever watched... I never felt I could do this lei but this demo broke it down simply and made it look so much easier... I mahalo you for this!!

    I owe it all to my wife. I just would have just bought one LOL.

    Another trick to hold your lei while working it is to use a clipboard (a trick I used in the 70's when I did macramé. I like using a legal size (long) clipboard.) You can move the lei up in the clip as it gets longer.

    Thank you for sharing how to make this lei. I have a question. You said 12 leafs needed in order to make one complete Ti leaf lei, but is it whole leaf or cut ones?

    What's the longest you can leave it in the freezer ?

      Hi Verlyne, the longest we had the Lei in the freezer was about a year.
      A friend of ours uses the same maile leis year after year for graduation for the kids.
      Take out about 2 hours before and wipe it down.
