You know, I was watching back the 5th PV and at the end where they show like a tablet on the desk at SCHALE, it had some of the schools that got new students written there, like Valkyrie, Red Winter and Shanhaijing for example. Might be a good idea to keep an eye out for the next PV. 🧐
2024 for Blue archive had a bit of a interesting….I’d say “slow” start I feel. As we were getting new Alts, new events here and there, behind the scenes there was that whole looming concerns that talents were leaving NEXON games to form their own project, what would become of BA after this debacle. That whole situation resulted in what I feel a rather sluggish period of content for BA and not to mention the sudden drop in high-quality illustrations for the characters. The slow drip feeding of Volume 1’s continuation all throughout the first half of 2024 in regards to the initial drop of this volume continuation left alot to be desired imo. We had the Anime drop in 2024, and while it most likely helped a bit in regards to get new sensei’s to play the game, the anime itself left a lot to be desired when it comes to community and the fanbase. I thought the anime was good for what it was worth… I, like many others probably knew the end result of an anime adaptation would not go super well…given YOSTAR didn’t went all out in terms of partnering up with higher quality animation studios to adapt BA in anime form. But other then that aspect, let’s hope eventually we will get an adaptation of the Eden treaty arc down the line. But anyways, it was great to see the various new game events. Seeing the Problem solver 68 tackle a somewhat undercover mission….only to encounter with Saori who also had a mission of her own to complete, The After school sweets club interested in forming their own band was a rather enjoyable and wholesome moment. Devs finally gave us more Airi characterization and spotlight on her throughout this event. Summer events with Valkyria task force crew and then Arius summer was a delight to see… There’s the whole red winter Shanhaijing’s event which was an event nonetheless, quirky moments ensues…not to mention some serious moments when it comes to the Shanhaijing’s side of things as we finally got Kisaki playable. Reaching the latter portion of 2024, Blue Archive team gave us another Trinity event. Seeing various interesting costumes that the cast rolled in, but the highlights we got were idol Alts for Mina, Mari, & sakurako. They were all stunning in their idol Alts. And last but certainly not least, devs acknowledged that millennium exists lol. We finally get a new event in the form of the Millennium sleep over event, giving us Yuuka’s 2nd alt & Noa’s 1st alt in the form of PJ’s. I think when it’s all said and done, with the devs recent introduction of decragmaton content merging with the main story….they also showed rio in the latest section of that whole story portion. 2025 is going to start out great for BA as they will likely unveil Rio as the playable “Fest” anniversary character.
Say-Bing being Global's final event for 2024 feels like a subtle reference to HI3 because of Kirino not escaping the Kaslana allegations & Fubuki rocking a hairstyle that haunts every Captain's rolls & dreams,Ai-chan, even if I have the shining draw privilege every gacha session I personally perform.
