How to help kids with social anxiety disorder (overcome social anxiety with these anxiety tips)

Social Anxiety Disorder can be so overwhelming. It can make you want to avoid everything. That was my experience and it also started to be my daughter’s. Social anxiety is highly genetic and it can run in families.
In this video I sit down with my 9 year old and we talk about the different ways social anxiety has impacted our lives. It shows up differently for different people. We talk about the CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy approaches) we took to get some social anxiety relief. We talked about how to help social anxiety by doing ERP (exposure response prevention) and walking towards discomfort instead of away from it.
