I think the vulp is a better beginner balisong than the Orion for 2 reasons 1: the vulp is a tank, for somebody first learning it'll take a beating, very little concern if you drop it on concrete whereas the Orion is more delicate, I've heard stories of people dropping their Orion and something gets bend and it gets sticky in spots and 2: the vulp is somewhat heavy and a bit sluggish which allows you to realy slow down tricks, the Orion is lighters and wants to move faster and that makes learning tricks harder, however if your not brand new to the hobby the Orion is a way better option, it's a better flipper and if your not an idiot it'll last without problems
@@WillHirschFlipsI wanted to come back to this, I just picked up a frank a few days ago and I don't think it's as weird as people make it out to be, I realy like it. It has a very similar balance to the frankenforge galvanis but has alittle more heft to it and it fans beautifully, it does have some sharpish corners but it's realy just slightly blade bias but because all of the weight is pulled back to the ends of everything it chaplains and does rollovers quite well too.
When I saw ldy’s video of the frank the first thing I thought was I want it. I just wanted a unique lil guy in my collection. Also my frank didn’t come with a false edge like your and I cut myself but idk 🤷♂️
Hey will, I am very new to this hobby and flipping for a few weeks constantly and noticed how you are very how do I say as a non native speaker, stuck? Not really ofc because you don't need to do new combos and tricks and just flip your comforting combo as a tool to be distracted and stuff, but as a balisong content creator and maybe the biggest of them all, are you concerned about not improving and getting "better"? Or just have more variety in what you do? Or don't you mind staying on the same and just reviewing new balisongs and just find the fun in flipping with different stuff? I do hope you do more content, because I like just you talking and would love a few kind of tutorials built into your talking videos, because I really wanna do some stuff of yours.
I am doing what I can do learn actually! I've added a lot of new stuff to my flipping recently, like the scissors and giraffe I've been doing. However, it's true that my rate of improvement is just generally slower then a lot of people, and I think it comes down to a few things. Mainly, I just don't have the time that some people do to dedicate the amount of hours it takes to get really good at flipping, but I am still trying! I do want to improve but I'm also improving other things then just my flipping, such as my writing and editing which are all parts of the videos we create!

I'm glad you understood what I meant because I absolutely don't mind on what "level" you are and I'm aiming to get to something like that comfortably as well. Because of you I got into flipping, and I Iike just you talking about real life and stuff.
