Although it is good for American makers that a Chinese knife is $450 + I would never buy a Chinese for that price. There is a reason American knives cost that, and there is a reason Chinese knives don't cost that. The markup on an american made knife is way less than one made in China. I'm sure that knife could turn a nice profit at $150-200. I will be buying a Sirius though.
