Big difference Malaysia has they're own. Farm chickens, cow everything not imported and try KFC too
Yea it’s completely different and so so good! We loved it 🤩
@@shouldibotherpod enjoy your journey in Malaysia 🇲🇾
Its the Halal Hub Thing...
@@shouldibotherpodsorry, I have to tell you that Malaysians used to boycott McDonald's by protesting on streets because they claimed the franchise is associated with Zionism, which is absurd. They threatened the employees, provoked them and instigated violence towards McDonald's, then they forced people to boycott it too. Be careful in Malaysia, there are plenty of hooligans there.
Most of beef in Malaysia was imported from New Zealand, Australia and some from India...
bubur ayam mcd is good when you are sick and just want a comfort food and too lazy to cook it. quite filling too.
Ooh really? That's interesting. I can definitely see that it would be comforting if you're sick! Thanks for watching 🤩
@@shouldibotherpod yeah.. if you notice they provide you with the pepper. it is meant to be stirred with the porridge.. nice eaten when it is still hot...
Yes so true
And a pinch of salt. Chicken porridge + pepper + salt. Thats how we eat them. 😂
Like i said nasi lemak the main breakfast staple in malaysia served with anchovies either fried or in sambal..
Rice porridge prefer to be eaten if u not feeling well.. It's like hot soup but with rice in it.. Mix well the porridge and add the white pepper in it..
the gcb is tender because they use boneless thigh.. it's real chicken btw.. your boyfriend have a good taste he eat everything well
Ok thank you! Yes he enjoyed everything 😊🇲🇾
MCD Porridge - Ginger, Chicken, Spring Onions, Stock and seasonings.
Nasi Lemak - Fried Anchovies (never Sardine), Sambal (Chilli), Hard Boil Eggs and Coconut Rics
We also have:
Prosperity Burger Set - Beef / Chicken / Fish patty dipped in black pepper sauce, Curly Fries and Zesty Orange Drink
(Available only once a year during Chinese New Year)
Thank you! That prosperity set sounds amazing 😍🇲🇾
Foldover during ramadhan.
Rice Porridge is something that every Malaysian baby eats regardless of ethnicity... comfort food...
You don laik, don laik... just you wait the food will grow on you...😅❤
There's also special burgers every year like The Samurai burger, prosperity Burgers and so much more. But the most popular is the Prosperity Burger which only available every year around Chinese New year.
McDonald's porridge is the food that my family will buy everytime we got sick or flu.😅 I even had it delivered to my ward as that is the only food I can eat.
Oh and also we eat all our burgers with chilli sauce. 😬
Welcome to Malaysia.. Hope that you are enjoying Malaysia hospitality and culinary.. Nasi Lemak used to be served only for breakfast because it was cheap and easy to pack... but now you can enjoy it the whole day and at night as a dinner.
The GCB only use the red meat part for its chicken patty. Thats why its texture so soft, plus its grilled and not fried in batter like Spicy Chicken Mcdeluxe which give it some crispy texture.
Normally for me the bubur is suitable eaten during cold rainy days and during sick or fever. To bring up the porridge to next level, just shred some spicy fried chicken and dunk into it.
Ah ok, that makes sense as to why it tastes so different from the fried chicken! Thanks for watching 😊🇲🇾
Grilled Chicken Burger..
Porridge better add the pepper, better taste 😁👍❤️🇲🇾
Thanks for the tip! 😊🇲🇾
@@shouldibotherpodto Stef n Gary pls try the other great Malaysian - there's so much to try - avoid McD la😅
If u can't find just tell us - we can sent u to the good restaurants - spicy; non-spicy; etc
Or to Irish pubs😂
Many Malaysian really love Malaysia McDonalds Porridge👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Your reactions were very entertaining to watch. We don’t get much of Irish people in this part of the world so this was very refreshing 👍🏻
GCB = Grilled Chicken Burger
Bubur(Porridge) Ayam(Chicken)
Bubur Nasi(Rice) = Congee/Rice Porridge... 😊
Thanks for letting me know! 😊🇲🇾
@@shouldibotherpod welcome... 😊
Golden, not grilled.
@@hailah62 pls g00gle about that... 😊
The GCB uses real chicken thigh meat. In Asia we avoid the dry chicken breast meat. If you would like the familiar, processed chicken meat patty go for the McChicken. The porridge is also called congee, only made with rice. Mostly savoury congee is of Chinese origin. You can get sweet porridge made with black glutinous rice called Bubur pulut hitam. Western porridge is usually oats eaten with golden syrup or a fruit-based condiment.
6:08 i think u should mix it first.. at top usually only sesame oil.. and then put the peppers (its usually provided if u order the porridge) . Some people love put the peppers and some people love eat that without the peppers.
Nasi lemak my fav.. Mix the sambal together and then eat them with anchovies or ayam goreng.. Their ayam goreng spicy is the best.. Not too spicy but got a kick to eat.. Dipped them with chili sauce if you're eating the chicken alone.. Now you're in heaven..
My other fav is the samurai burger.. The beef or chicken is dipped in teriyaki sauce.. So it's a bit sweet not spicy but still my fav.. They just had them but gone now.. We'll have to wait next yr haha..
The ayam goreng was so so good. We got some again yesterday from food panda! I hope I can try the Samurai burger before I leave! 🇲🇾
For the porridge you need mix it up first and same goes when buy drinks/juice in Malaysia, you need stir or mix it up first in order to get real taste.....
In Malaysia, when they say "spicy", as a foreigner it is really really spicy.
Hahah yes it might be ok for locals, but for me it’s very spicy 🌶️😅
MCD VIP sticker doesn't mean that VIP queue, it encourage people to go for drive thru, sometime you will get free fries or coke, depend on term of condition like reaches minimum payment RM30, it depends.
They use chicken thigh for the GCB, that's why it's a bit tender.
Really enjoyed this video guys, so good, keep the flag going
this is chicken porridge, please add salt and black paper, it's delicious
Oh thanks for the tip, I think I will try it again 😊 thanks for watching!
Nasi lemak is rices cooked in coconut milk(and other ingredients like ginger etc)
Welcome in Malaysia.
Stay healthy...
Stay safe....😊
I like the Honesty here!❤
Thank you! Thanks for watching 😊🇲🇾
Ohhh, Samurai Burger is my favourite. Its just teriyaki sauce with the beef. Not spicy at all, it taste sweet.
The samurai burgers were all sold out! I think I’ll go back this weekend and see if they have them 😊 really want to try one!
Hahaha 😆 😂 😆 Gary seems to enjoy eating 🤣 😄 😆
Haha yes he does! Especially lovely food like this 😊🇲🇾
Mcd Malaysia has real food better than other processed food
Yes it really does. Usually when we have McDonalds in another country we are hungry very soon after, but with McDonald’s here, we were full for the whole day!!
Enjoy your stay!
Thanks so much 😊🇲🇾
Mc Donalds n KFC in Malaysia are made according to our taste bud😊
I need to try KFC here!! 🤩🇲🇾
you should try the Prosperity Burger beef. but its seasonal
currently KFC here have a *Satay Burger* , you should try it 😋
Me always visit local MCD, KFC or PIZZA Hut when travelling to another country.. It's fun...
Malaysia also got its own fast food like McD called Sugar Bun which mostly found in Borneo. It do have branches in KL but hardly find a branch in KL...
You should pull the flap at side of the box to convert the box into a plate .. easier to eat
Thanks for the tip 😊🇲🇾
You should use your hand when you eat nasi lemak to get the sauce mix w rice well ...so you can get taste better
Thank you! 😊
I am Asian , welcome to travel in Asian countries , Tokyo Japan , Seoul Korea , Shanghai China , Hong Kong , Taipei Taiwan , Manila Philippines , Bangkok Thailand , Kuala Lumpur Malaysia , Singapore , Jakarta Indonesia
Thanks for watching 😊🇲🇾
My family usually order bubur ayam when we need instant porridge for baby or when we were sick..anyway..its delicious n cheap.
The spicy cheese burger and chicken looks delicious 🤤
They were both amazing 🤩 The chicken was so so tasty, cannot wait to get it again!
The reason it's cheaper in Malaysia is becoz to cater to it being halal, a lot of the ingredients were locally sourced.
The only perks of the VIP is that every now n then u get a free drink or a free ice cream…so there is no priority line etc
God you guys makes me feel like I should get MCD for dinner~
Do it!! We got it again last night 😅
U should come to Sarawak.More foods over here
MCD VIP sticker on cars - sometimes got free ice-cream/ Sundae hehhehe
Amazing!! 🤩🇲🇾
The porridge got sesame oil in it that's why you taste weird 😂😂we Asian love it because we used to it, when we sick always eat them.
Yes....I love the porridge too....😋😋👍
you should choose spicy chicken for nasi lemak ayam goreng
If u have the car sticker, you will get free item of the day. Can be a free drink or fries etc..
"Sweatin'" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Spicy food & the heat, we’re not built for it 😅😅
Welcome to Malaysia guys. If you are used to spicy foods like Mexican foods, you can tolerate Malaysian spicy foods.
Thanks so much 😊🇲🇾 yes I am getting used to the spice 😅
Oh oh….yr taste bud gonna change and will be on the next level dear 🤭
Btw loves the quality of your videos 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Hahaha 🤣 I knew you gonna say that!
Welcome to Malaysia friends
Thank you 😊
dangg... make my mouth watering at 3am 🤣
Hahah oops sorry 😅
They should started tasting with, porridge(bubur), GCB, Nasi Lemak + Fried Chicken and lastly spicy burger. Lite to flavoury food. This is to avoid killing the taste.
Yes that would have been a better idea 🙈 oops haha thanks for watching 😊🇲🇾
I usually put chili sauce on all the chicken burger and ketchup on the beef. It elevates the taste. My go to menu in mcdonald’s would be the spicy chicken mcdeluxe. And i’ll deep the fries in the sundae😂
Omg I saw other people dipping fries in ice cream! I never tried this 🙈😅
@@shouldibotherpod it’s good, you should try next time you go to mcd in Malaysia. 😁
@@shouldibotherpod sometimes i dip the fries with the nasi lemak sambal .. so so good
Happy Malaysia day 🇲🇾
GCB is stand for Grilled Chicken Burger.
Gcb is not my fav too. You should try spicy chicken mcdeluxe because it is most Malaysian favourite and also prosperity burger but it is only available during new year season.
GCB actually stands for Great Chicken Burger
You should mix the sambal sauce into the nasi lemak rice before eat 😊
i love GCB and double chese burger then mcd nasi lemak...
The spicy cheese burger is amazing 🤩
GCB is my favourite!!!!!
next time, try chicken or beef foldover and spicy fried chicken.
Bubur ayam or chicken porridge the best😊😊😊
You can unfold the nasi lemak box. Easier to eat
Wait......there is no GCB outside Malaysia!?
The VIP is whether you have the sticker or not, which all stickers are the VIP 😂 ...if you have the VIP sticker, you can get at least 1 free item per order.
Aah ok that makes sense! Thanks for letting me know, I want one 😅
GCB - Grilled Chicken Burger 😅. Steph sounds Scottish /Irish from her accent.
Yes good ear, Irish ☘️😊
@@shouldibotherpod I'm a local here :) . Anyway, I'm plan on doing my post graduate studies in Ireland
FYI you don't eat rice with a fork, we use spoons or our hands
As a Malaysian, I’ve never eaten Nasi Lemak McD as for the price, you can get better Nasi Lemak elsewhere.
And this was the first time I saw a rice meal served in a box, anywhere in the world.😂
Most fast food outlet are using paper box for serving their nasi menu now. Gone are the days you get the "pinggan" with your nasi.
*Welcome to Malaysia Truly Asia Good foods -Enjoyed Thanks sharing very good videos*
🇲🇾♥️💝❤️🩹💖🤩😍🥰🇲🇾♥️💝❤️🩹💖💟🇲🇾
Thank you so much for your kind welcome 🤩🇲🇾
more beautiful when you put dress on
you can open that nasi lemak box 🤣
Haha yes I learned that afterwars 😅😅
Welc9me to msia❤❤❤❤❤❤
bubur is porridge...GCB Grilled Chicken Burger
You're supposed to open up the nasi lemak box into a flat 'plate'.
I prefer McD chicken to KFC. KFC chicken is too chickeny.
The bubur is rice porridge also known as congee. The McD bubur is topped with sesame oil, bits of chicken & spring onions.
GCB stand for Golden Chicken Burger.
The strong taste in bubur ayam is ginger n sesame oil
Bubur Ayam is Chicken Porridge
1. Samurai burger (sweet)
2. Prosperity burger (spicy pepper)
3. GCB (Not spicy)
Samurai burger was sold out 😭
GCB = grilled chicken burger...
FYI = Malaysia is the source of Islamic Halal Certification for MCD and KFC.... we are halal hub for may countries...
That’s what makes it different I think! So so good 😊
Spicy chicken mcdeluxe burger the best
McDonalds drive through VIP sticker? Its FREE!!
Lolz
Haha that’s amazing!! I want one even though we don’t have a car here lol
@@shouldibotherpod kindly ask at the counter. Normally they give out at drive through counters.
Makes you feel like VIP? No.
Makes you feel good? Hahahaha.. yes. A lil bit.
🇲🇾❤️🇲🇾❤️🇲🇾
How to pronounce bubur: booo+ bhor
How to pronounce ayam: aaaa+ yum like yummy
porridge plus nugget- full stomach
Porridge normally for infant or adult whose not feeling well.
We call it all burgers even it is chicken, fish sandwich.
✋😁🇲🇾♥️🇨🇮
Delicious because all's the food Halal.
KFC Zinger Burger is the best
I need to try KFC here and see how it compares to McDonald’s!
Nasi lemak I prefer KFC to McD. You should try
Ooh really? I will try it for sure!!
Because our leader (VVVIP-Royalty) also line up when they want to purchase 😅😅😅
😅😅
Trying ramlly burgers
Yes I did in my previous video 😊
GCB = Grilled Chicken Burger. Now you know.
Spicy is the flavour that all Malaysian love .. 😁
Not ALL Malaysians. I'm 100% Malaysian Malay and I hate it when people assume I want chilli sauce without asking. I always have to ask for their ketchup. There was a time when they actually asked if you wanted chilli or ketchup. Don't know exactly when they stopped doing it.
@@hailah62 they stop when they all realise that majority of Malaysian love spicy ..
Best part it's halal😊
GCB gourmet chicken burger
I thought japan's one was different
I need to try it some day!!
We take seriously about our food. Better good or else. Lol
You are beautiful!
Ayam = chicken
Malaysian Muslim loves to eat fried chicken
I understand why, it’s amazing 🤩
It's not barbur! It's burbur!😅😅😅
Hahah yes sorry 😅
We're used all halal food, that's why
Yes it’s different to any other I tried before! 🇲🇾
