Girlll noooo i went on a 16 day trip with a backpack and a small international suit case to put in the over-head bin. I just pack tightly and don’t pack many shoes lol. Checked backs give me anxiety, specially in international flights. They loose suitcases all the timeeee. Iberia (the most popular Spanish airline) is notorious for loosing suitcases and sometimes never even putting them in the plane in the first place.
The cotopaxi backpacks etc look very unique and colorful because they use scraps (that would normally be thrown out) to make their products. So they definitely look interesting, but yay for sustainability! 🌎💜

I have a tip for packing for a trip as a certified over packer myself. Don’t pack things like q-tips or socks because you can buy those anywhere usually for cheap. Saves space and weight. You can do that for anything you think you can buy and use while you’re down there and then just give away whatever you don’t use before you leave. Idk if Madrid has donation centers but 🤷🏼♀️

They're a bit pricey but a super great investment, they're built for you to use for decades + better for the environment!! All the bags are also slightly different color-wise so if you want more muted tones or vibrant colors they'll have something for you. I got one last year and think it's def a great brand

i went to Japan for 15 days with a carry on and managed to sneak an extra suitcase on the plane on the way back that I purchased there lmao
