Please let me know if you are considering this bike and have any questions. An emtb is a big investment, so I'm more than happy to share my thoughts and experiences with the new bike.
Hi mate after some help.. just purchased this bike and hasn’t came with owners manual.. do you know where and how I could get one? Need to find out how long charging time is etc… Many Thanks Rik
Sold this bike a couple of years ago and haven't had a Canyon since, so I can say what I would do. I assume your tried Canyon directly? If that failed, look for the Neuron:ON Facebook group, there's loads of helpful advice and support on offer.
Nice job with the stem, actually I was wandering it that can be swapped because of the cable rooting. What abut the handlebar, can be swapped with a raised one, the original seems quite flat . Thank You for the info!
The handlebar isn't as easy, the cable is routed through a recessed 'crease' that runs under the grip and through a small hole near the end of the bar. Any modification needed to change the bar would require a small hole adjacent the controller and might affect handlebar strength. Unless anyone can suggest a better way?
@@trickyrickymtb5622 thanks for the fast reply I have a 9.0 on order, but they have sent me an email delaying until late August, I'm thinking of canceling based on the new battery and the EP8 motor release due in August. Basically not sure what to do now 👍
Also, if I may ask, what kind of build do you have, stocky or slight? Bit of an odd question, but relevant if you want to muscle the bike around, or cruise etc..
@@wayneshooter8540 lol, ok so normally I'd say fo for the longer effective reach option, but the medium bike has a 440mm seat tube with a 150 dropper. So technically would be slightly too high with the dropper fully extended. However, for your riding would I go medium, you can always change the dropper, you can't lengthen the frame. Hope that helps.

Also if considering a stem change, I think the new stem should have the bridged face plate, which helps retain strength.
Hi, does it look like canyon have left space in the battery compartment, so it will take a 630wh battery?
Sadly no, it's very compact in there

@@mathewcook4963 difficult decision, but in your shoes, I think I'd be tempted to wait.
HI
Im 170cm high with a 79cm inseam, Canyon suggest a small but ive been told to get a medium. whats your view on this?
Where/how do ride? Also do you prefer a more relaxed, upright riding position, or a more aggressive all terrain riding position?

trickyricky MTB mainly trail riding around with the occasional bike park. more of an aggressive position.
trickyricky MTB more of a stocky build with some extra timber 😂
