- I was hoping that the headers would be a surprise in the future, but the real surprise was the amount of work that goes into installing these bad boys.
Hope you guys enjoy the video

Looking great. Can't wait for Red to be on the road again.
The headers look like such a pain . I just use truck manifold extended with 2.5 pipe and a vband . Fits so easy
I have the stainless worx headers too. There very good. Although I also found them to be a very tight fit. I have a t56, and was able to shave a little off the bell housing where the starter goes. I lifted the cab up about 6-8 inches and they dropped right in you may find that pulling the engine towards the front of the truck a little will help with your clearance a bit more. Can't wait to see more videos, keep up the great work and hello from the UK. 🤙🤙🤙
Thank you! Yes Definitely a tight fit. I'm excited for them tho.
I was looking at those headers for my S10 swap, but couldn't bring myself to drop $1100 for headers. They are sexy, but you sure have to mod a lot of stuff for them to fit.
I agree, I was hesitant to purchase them, but to me they were worth the headache of time spent fabricating something custom. otherwise its shorty headers or cast manifolds.
@@ethanhowze I went with shorty stainless headers. They're still in the box like 5 years later. lol
Looking good. I am trying get my engine in as well. I ordered the flow tech shorty headers and they are definitely a no go. I just ordered the Hooker manifolds from Summit and I am very anxious for them to arrive soI can check the fitment and clearances. Fingers crossed!
Hello.. I have a 1984 s10 and I am in a swap ls 5.3 project and I would like to know about the motorcycle supports because I see that they use different styles..
Get the speedway upper tubular control arms will give you a lot more room
I definitly plan to swap to tubular arms. just saving that for later.
What year is your truck?
