in today's video we install the 5.3 l third generation LS out of a 2001 Chevy Tahoe into my son's 2007 Chevy Colorado. huge thanks to Fabbot for the conversion kit! The AR5 to LS transmission adapter made things super simple! especially bolting the LS into the Colorado using the fabbot LS conversion mounts made it seem like it belong there, we also don't have to go through the hassle of figuring out how to run the power steering lines thanks to the Fabbot power steering conversion kit. just about everything was a direct bolt in, only thing that had to be trimmed was the engine cradle to clear the LS into Colorado conversion mounts. LS swapping made simple! thanks once again to Fabbot. highly recommend using their products in the links above for any of your LS into Colorado / canyon needs!

There are special large head bolts that go in the holes that simply retain the can to the pump. They have to be 18m headed x 10m/1.5 I think in order to compress the o-ring between the can and the pump body to seal. There is a small Dia. vac. booster for some models of those trucks that you will most likely need to clear the valve covers.

If you wanna know a trick for future broken exhaust bolt extraction weld that bead on there first like you did then the nut and get on it with a wrench for pressure and gently put an air hammer on the center of the bead and hit it with the air hammer while turning it works everytime if you got one thats really stuck
for power steering cooler just buy a 07 - 09 chevy trailblazer one its small and cost something like 30 bucks 🤘 love the build and keep those vids coming✌

I'm surprised you didn't use truck accessories. They fit perfect on a s10 and cheap or free if you have a truck engine.

Ready for the cheat code, u can use hydraulic jic fittings on AN fitting jic has many adapters shorter than AN and they are rated to much higher psi. I use them on my car no leak anywhere

the 2 green holes are for the bolts that hold the res to the pump you need them or it will leak

Them 2 caps are for factory bracket.
Next time take and weld a flat washer to the broken bolt then weld the nut to the washer. Works way better tha just welding the nut on it.
There needs to be bolts in there to hold the reservoir to the actual pump. Without bolts it will leak.
