I’ve been binge watching your pct videos since yesterday, I can’t stop. I love your style of videos, I love how you always make clear how many miles you have done daily and the total, I always feel located on your hike. I am so impressed by you and Anna, and very connected. You are nice people and this videos feel like you are taking us with you. I am obsessed with the idea of doing this hike someday, but I definitely can’t now. I am 36, maybe when I’m 50 I’ll do it. I am reading the Cheryl Strayed book too, like for the second time.

Love that section of the trail south of Agua Dulce. My cover photo was taken there about five years ago or so.

Regarding injuries n revovery, Maybe take superlong lunchbreak and siesta to rest, if ur not doing already. Soon hot weather, youall have no choice only way to hike.
Taking long breaks but probably not as long as they should be for recovery

Anna, maybe you have Morton’s neuromas. If it is, wide toe box shoes will help!
I looked it up, it does sound like similar symptoms! I saw a doctor Blaze Physio on the trail and she gave me some exercises and advice. I have been wearing Topo terraventures with a nice wide toe box. Switching to Topo ultraventures in a few days!
@@annamarcantel1 good luck Anna. I’m also a hiker and have Morton’s neuromas and it’s not fun. I have orthotics and wide toe box shoes. Good luck.
Did you ended up lighting up your packs? Good videos.
Thank you! Packs got lighter, but we replaced that weight and more with big water and food carries haha. Glad to have saved some weight though!
