Just in case, in Highland Eritrean custom, the honeymoon (HiTsinot in Tigringa lanuage) takes places in the house of the groom for roughly two months often surrounded by friends and eating the best food with out either the bride or the groom leaving the house except for few minutes during the evening hours to take fresh air. At the end of the honeymoon, the bride returns to her parents home on the back of a mule often accompanied by one of her brothers. In this case, the groom is so much in love that he is not happy about his bride returning at the end of the allocated period of time and he is pleading with his bride to extend her stay. The bride's response is that even though she would also have liked to stay but she is so much home sick that she has made her mind to go back to her family house before she returns back in six months or so to continue her married life. Life was so wonderful in the old days before the modernity encroached..

I'm eritrean but I was born abroad as many eritreans so I asked my mother what does this song is talking about and she said that it was used in Eritrea after honey moon the bride go back to her parents for 3 or 4 months and if she is pregnant she will stay there all the time until give birth so the groom in the song is asking her to stay with him and that she cuold see her family everytime she wants.The end is clear😭

ንኣብነት ኣብ ኢትዮጵያ ዘለው ህዝቢ ባህሎም ካብ ባህሊ ኢትዮጵያ ባህሊ ዓፋር ተባሂሉ 'ዩ ዝግለጽ። ከም ካልኣይ መግለጺ ግን ባህሊ ዓፋር ከም ሓደ ባህሊታት ኢትዮጵያ ይግለጽ። ካብ ብዙሓት ባህልታት ኢትዮጵያ ሓደ ኣካል ጥራሕ ስለዝኾነ ግን ባህሊ ዓፋር ከም ኣጠቓላሊ ባህሊ ኢትዮጵያ ተባሂሉ ክግለጽ ብዙሕ ኣየስምዕን። ናይ ሓደ ብሄር ባህሊ ከም ናይ ሓደ ኣጠቓላሊ ክገልጽ እንተኾይኑ ግን ኣብ ሓንቲ ሃገር ህዝቢ ሓደ ብሄር ዝነብር እንተኽይኑ 'ዩ።
ንኣብነት ባህሊ ጃፓን ጥልያን ጀርመን ፈረንሳ እንግሊዝ። ኣብዘን ሃገራት እዚአን ተሰዲዱ ዝመጸ ተዘይኮይኑ ካብ ሓደ ዝበዝሐ ባህሊ የብለንን። ኣብ ገለ ሃገራት ከኣ ካብ ሓደ ንላዕሊ ባህልን ብሄርን እናሃለወን መብዛሕቱ ግዜ ባህሊ እተን ሃገራት በቲ ብዝሒ ቑጽሪ ዘለዎ ብሄር ወይ ከም ኢትዮጵያ በቲ ኣብ ፖለቲካዊ ስልጣን ንብዙሕ ዓመታት ዓብላልነት ዝነበሮ ህዝቢ ባህለን ኣብ ዓለም የቃልሓን የላልያን ።
