Thanks! I was a pleasure meeting you at the Honduras border. Lovely couple, just hope you’re doing well and keep rolling. We made it to Nicaragua. Hope to see you guys again.
Cool guys! I wish you the best. Some tip, Miss, poney tail in the jacket otherwise it will be the mess at the end of the day. No glasses in your helmet, some pain after a while, prefer a helmet with a retractable sun visor. Replace the stock mirror by the ones mounted on RAM ball because you will crash at one moment and they will broke. I think you will need some auxiliary light in the front and maybe a beefy skid plate.
Thanks François! It's funny because Lavi's head is so small they don't make helmets with retractable sun visors that fit her 😂 We will definitely look into a couple of those things, especially the skid plate!
Having watched so many of your later episodes ,I thought it only right to return to the beginning, and watch all the episodes up to where I'm up too. A great first effort.
In a perfect world you guys would spend at least one whole riding season on the bike getting used to it and the equipment before setting out on a world adventure. I find that during the winter my body has to re acclimate to each new season, and I've been riding for 26 years on the street. I'm glad you guys are doing this while you're young! Lol! I look forward to seeing you guys break the record!
I guess our first season on the road will be our getting used to it 😂 At least we starting from Europe so our first few thousand miles should be a good warm up! Thanks for watching Mike, we can't wait to get started 😁🙏
Although your channel has been on my radar for a while im only really starting to watch as a series. LOADS of catching up to do and I'm long forward to following you. Great video, upbeat, I knpw there's some amazing stuff coming, you've already been to places I'd like to go. Can't wait to settle in with a brew and start watching properly. Great video :)
Safe travels! I'm very excited to follow you on your adventure. It will be interesting to watch the evolution you two go through starting as fresh new riders in the UK to seasoned adventure bike riders struggling through the muddy plains of Mongolia. All the best to you. Enjoy!!!
I wish you both a cracking adventure on your trip, as they say, it's not the destination but the journey that is the fun bit. I am currently awaiting my MOD 2 test and I will be also joining the ranks of the biking communitytytytytytyty. Will be following your adventure in the meantime.
Exactly we totally agree with that! Actually our destination is our starting point anyway 🤣 Welcome to a wonderful community, you'll meet so many awesome people when you live the two wheeled life 😎 Thanks for following!
@@LaviandOllie Your videos have always been informative and fun to watch, more of the same will do nicely. Updates from time to time on the performance of the bike would be much appreciated, I'm sure others would also enjoy that.
Lot's of speed cameras around Leek /Stoke-on-Trent area as I remember it, although you are probably aware of that now! Hope you have a good time & take it easy... 🏍
Winnatts Pass... Mam Nick... before beautiful climbs up and down, tough using pedal power I can assure you. Looks like you stayed in the Edale Valley, I ventured up to Kinder Scout and wild camped up there back in the Winter, stunning scenery on foot! Good luck with your adventures!
We also did a walk up there on this trip! So stunning around that area 😍 Yes it is definitely easier to have a motor now 😂 Thanks for watching Richard!
May I ask what editing software you are using and do you edit yourselves?? Are you going to post daily on your trips? How you gonna work it when you have no internet connections?? Am really interested thanks.
curious myself also. I used "quik" app by GoPro on the phone, on my #60days20000km trip and did daily videos up to say 30 or so then gave up . and with 3 cameras as they have it's not easy to cull and edit without a laptop. but I was too a new location every day so maybe they will have more time for video editing
Hey Ronald! We are using Final Cut Pro for editing, yes we edit everything ourselves, usually takes us the good part of a day to get a full episode edited! The plan for the RTW trip is to ride for 1-2 days and then edit as quick as we can and post up before moving again so every days ride will be posted as an episode :) When we have no internet we will continue to make the episodes, save them up and upload them all when we get to a point with internet and schedule them accordingly
@@LaviandOllie Thank you very much for your reply. Have subscribed and will follow with great interest. I myself am on a project. I am retired and live in Portugal. I am looking on doing a tour around Portugal and then into the other Southern European countries. My tours and videos will be aimed at people at my stage of life. Touring on back roads but with more stop overs in mind and sightseeing. It will be an easy touring experience with stop overs in Air Bnbs and hotels. Is what most my age prefer. Not built for camping and tents anymore😂😂. I want to concentrate on easy roads and local interesting sights. So will need to brush up on local history etc.

Awesome episode, well done you, now we feel the trip is coming closer and closer. Can you please share whether you use 1 gimbal or a selfie stick and the brand, the video stabilization is really great! Thank you for replying and keep it, you're doing great! 👍👍
On which camera? The rear one on the box? We are actually in the process of making a video all about our filming setup so should post that on Tuesday 😁🙏
So, guys, I've decided to accept that you are the way you are, and you are for real, really the way you are. Which a couple of little kids jumping around all the time.. At least that is a dominant theme. Perhaps there is more
Good day. Their videos are very beautiful and what they do to travel around the world visiting magical places is impressive. I have a suzuki vstrom 1050 and they are very good bikes for long trips. A question about the selfie stick in the top case, what accessory is that? I would like to add my box to place a camera just like you guys do. Greetings from Guatemala.

Hello Lavi and Ollie. I have subscribed as I like your energy and I´m looking forward to follow your around the world. I would like to know a bit about your reason for riding two up? I would think the adventure going to feel quite long for Lavi as she won´t be active during the rides. Also your reasons for choice of bike? ;-)
Hey! Thanks so much for subscribing! 😁🙏 We're riding two up primarily because Lavi doesn't have a license! 😂 But also it keeps the fuel costs down and it means we only have two deal with repairs/maintenance/ shipping on one bike :) As for the choice of bike we didn't really have a preference as long as it would do the job and this one was offered to us by a local dealership here in Northampton called Motorcycle World so we took it and now we absolutely love it!
Too bad Kenya is not in your list. Or is it? I wish you a great adventure. I'll share your link with all of my Kenyan bikers and hope they'll like you guys.
