    I loved these pockets, I suffer from vertigo and find that if I have been reading or doing a lot of crafting with head down I feel dizzy and woosey when I get up, apparently it double due to a nerve in my neck getting squashed, just thought I would pass this on, hope you get better soon.x

    These are so easy to make!! And they are cute!! You were speaking about a stand up table. I have one that is called AIR SPACE (Adjustable Laptop Desk)...it stands tall or short. You can adjust it for your needs. Hope this helps!!

    I love the way you repurpose your stash! Great reminder for all of us to use up things we wouldn’t normally reach for first. Also, isn’t it wonderful how using distress ink or oxide to bright papers or ephemera/embellishments can allow you to use items up that you wouldn’t have normally used. Love “Dead to Me” too...I haven’t started season 2 yet but thanks for the reminder that it was on Netflix. Thanks for the project and video as always! Take care and be safe.

    I will be making these. I was thinking about your neck pain and try to do stretches for that area. You may also have the doctors office clean your ears. Good that you are exercising by walking with your family. We also had a holiday weekend and my husband took an extra day off and went fishing with our 2 sons. I stayed home alone with the dog and took a nap. Much love to you and your family ❤❤❤❤❤

    I have a bone to pick with you. You said you were watching “Dead To Me.” So I figured i pretty much binge watched all the shows but that one. Oh I’m so addicted and its all your fault. 🤣 My 11 yr old is like “mom what are you watching? Can I watch with you?” Of course I said no and couldn’t wait till she went to bed. So thanks Tina I’m now not doing crafting I’m watching Dead to Me. 🤣🤣 No but for real I really love these pockets and when I’m done watching both seasons I will make some. Thank you for your channel. I love watching. And also thanks for the suggestion on TV shows to watch. Your great.

      Oh your comment did make me chuckle when you said you couldn’t wait for your daughter to go to bed so you could watch Dead to Me, I so know what you mean! Lol. You’ve probably finished it by now? Sadly the second season wasn’t as good as the first was it? Still watched all of it though, but I absolutely loved the first season x

    Hello, Tina..so sorry to hear about your neck....I feel for you and your issue reminds me of how my shoulders have bent forward as I sit at my crafting table so much...and to help them to straighten out, by laying on the floor doing slow movements, slowly. It helps and makes me more aware of pulling my shoulders back as I sit at my table (for hours). Love all your videos and not only learn a lot, have a few chuckles listening to your stories....;-)

    • @shabbydabbydoodah
      @shabbydabbydoodah  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh thank you so much Pam, yes even as I type this I am aware of how my shoulders are rounding! I am going to try and make a conscious effort to straighten them also. Thanks for the advice x

    I love this idea! And all the pieces are beautifully created. Sorry you are still having the vertigo. I had vertigo many years ago and it totally took out 4 months of my life making it impossible to function. I even had to walk with a cane as I lost all sense of balance. I was very glad when the ear, nose and throat doctor figured it out and I got my life back. Hope you can get it figured out. Hugs, Angela

    Can you try one of those inflatable neck traction devices? They are $20 or less on Amazon. I have one and it's a life saver. We spend a lot of time with our heads down resulting in tech neck, pinched nerves, etc. For me also, I'm a black licorice hyper-responder and it caused two of the worst episodes of vertigo ever in my life along with a massive spike in blood pressure and months to return to normal. Now I have to be careful of food ingredients, especially flavored teas as they often contain licorice and it can frequently be hidden among the "natural flavors" as a sweetener. Take care ❤️

    • @shabbydabbydoodah

    If it’s inner ear, which is what it sounds like, unfortunately it won’t go away. You really should go to the Dr, it could be very serious.....a friend of mine lost her hearing in one ear and has permanent vertigo, because she had a similar issue and did not go to the Dr. She lost her balance on that side of her body, and had to learn to walk again with vertigo 24/7. Good luck.
